Right! I get home at 9pm. My packages get delivered between 1pm and 5pm. I thought using a locker was a sure fire way of getting my package without worrying about porch pirates. I was wrong!

I'm like a happy kid this morning. I got myself a new ipad. I picked it up at Amazon locker on my way to work. I also got a case and tempered glass screen protector. My old one is from 2012 and I promised it to my niece. She desperately wants an ipad.
I'm due for a new iPad, too. Mine has started running slowly and I have to charge the battery up every night. However, since I just bought a new phone it will have to wait.

The new ipad is incredible. I did actually have to work pretty hard. Since I'm the only one in the office, I'm scanning and distributing and assigning work for my whole section. I have to work to keep them all busy. But now I'm playing with my new ipad.

Happy July! Today is vacuum the car day and the first day of making all remaining projects (there really are fewer now, even if you can't tell it just by looking, haha!) fit neatly into groupings. These little groupings will wait for me to have a few minutes, a few hours, or a dedicated couple of days to work on them. Meanwhile, I can clean the spaces they have been occupying...

It's 90 degrees here (summer).
I woke up freezing the past two nights and started having sniffles yesterday. Sniffles turned into uncontrollable dripping/runny nose. Took Dimetap 8am...12pm....more coming at 4pm....
My face is hot right now (possible fever?)....Did I get COVID after returning from Costco onTuesday?
I've had weird chills the past two days too. IT's not normal. I haven't changed the temperature indoors and it's hot as heck outside. Problem is that COVID shows up usually two days after infection....I had chills same day after coming back from Costco.......haven't gone out at all before that.
eta correction: I went to cCOstco Monday not Tuesday.

Thanks. I've felt much better since the 4PM Dimetap. But, oddly, I have this weird thing going on with my feet. They seem HOT!
This is so bizarre! Like the fever from my face's skin went into my feet and feet are heating up!
If this continues and gets weird, I am going for a COVID test.
eta: and the "hot feet" may be "tingling" too (which I know is one type of COVID symptom)...it's just very hard to describe. My feet feel weird. Like they are hot and there is some weird nerve tingling going into them....

I hope its not the Covid but please don't let it go on to long. I am one of the old people and know it would go hard for me if I should get it. Still praying.
I just read online that tingling feet and hands are hard to diagnose sometimes, as they can be symptoms of so many things. One such thing is even anxiety.@grannysarms wrote:

Maybe my own anxiety is giving me tingling feet! Maybe it's your praying, but I'm feeling better and better. The tingling went away and only just now came back a few minutes ago. Now, it's gone again.
Age is a factor for COVID outcomes, but not always. A surprising number of "younger' people have severe symptoms and many older folks are asymptomatic. Very, very odd! But, I hear ya on the age factor and risks. Best to not contract it. But, I shall pray for you as well in all circumstances. There are a number of people on this forum I pray for and I will add you to that list. Thanks, grannysarms, for all your kindness!

Wrist. I feel it all the way from fingertips to elbows and sometimes in the other direction, but they assure me that in due time all will be well. I had to know because I work with my hands every day and have upcoming hands-on merch & other gigs. So. Bones are still strong, and I will not hurt myself or worsen an injury by working as planned. And, by working as planned I will not incur any raised eyebrows or bad marks in my shopper/mercher record. Win win. But.. I am a sore winner... it will take a few days for the worst of the pain to go away...

Coughing a lot. Feel very sensitive to cold air (AC). Get cold very easily. Otherwise, I feel better than yesterday.

Working on my son's tax return. We deliberately put it on hold because he is going to owe $$$ so now the chickens have come home to roost . . .
Cooking and freezing entrees. Made Baseball Chicken yesterday, chilled that and will freeze 4 individual servings today. Today making slow cooker pot roast with Shiitake mushroom gravy. Will have some tonight with mashed potatoes and steamed fresh carrots. The rest will be chilled and then packed for freezing tomorrow.
If I am ambitious I will use fresh blueberries (GREAT sale at Aldi) to make a batch of blueberry crisp with oatmeal, to use for some breakfast variety. I will experiment with freezing some of that as well.
Ordering a supply of disposable latex gloves to use as I return to parking assignments that will require cash handling. All of my cash payments will be made with fresh from the ATM, crisp, currency. Any change that I get will be "sequestered" long enough to decontaminate it before I ever touch it without gloves. Where cash is not accepted, gloves will be used to make cc payment, and to wipe clean my cc before I remove my gloves. I have on hand a good supply of washable (15 times) fabric masks.
NONE of my parking shops will involve having a valet park my vehicle in the near future!

My department treated us all to lunch at a nearby restaurant (delivery). One employee tried to order a family platter that feeds 6-8 people. Luckily, it didn't go through.
