My coworker shared an article about a man who sued his wife over their ugly kids. Snopes said it wasn't true, but it was still a great article.

A woman married a gorgeous man and had 3 kids with him. He thought the kids were ugly, had a paternity test, and they were his.

That was when he found out his wife had an excessive amount of plastic surgery.

Work. Consider a different political party. The two majors are missing the boat too often these days, and they seem to have forgotten that people who rushed the capitol are some of the people. They were so blinded by anti-Trump bigotry, they overlooked the kernel of truth about how existing laws as these pertain to technology and life issues are creating illegal votes. Much more than an oops, that. Then, someone wants that the most diverse Congress to date (and there seems to be no limit to diversity except: not too busy with transitions that they can't show up to debate; old enough to vote, drink, and pull off a bribe; and senility or death) should legislate for diversity. Consider Siberia, just in case, haha.

watching TV series

Early work, huzzah! Nap. Grocery store (not a shop) and reminisce about 'the good old days' when hubby started this job. Every day, I got up early and cleaned something before work, which then was one unit which required practically no time to complete it. This place was immaculate! Then, we started other jobs, I added gigs, we added more of everything, and... began to need FlyLady. Anyway, there are approximately 19 other political parties, none of which has a chance of winning anything. But at least they can't screw things up, ya' know?

Ordering groceries for pick-up tomorrow for myself and one of the housemates. Babying a very tender upper back muscle.

Following the local aftermath of the storming of the Capitol. There is so much video footage of rioters entering and wrecking things that dozens and dozens of them have been identified by a cadre of social media volunteers. Then the police confirm identities and initiate warrants. And, already, there are announcements from employers that they have confirmed identities and terminated employees who were clearly part of the mob. Meanwhile, AirBnB has identified a bunch of DC properties where rioters had rented and then left the property vandalized. More charges pending. Didn't there used to be a TV series about how the world's dumbest burglars got caught ???

This week I was busy getting my classroom ready for virtual teaching next week. Today we didn't have to go in, so I took my baby girl to daycare and enjoyed some me time...a quick Wal Mart run, Post office visit, a Chic-fil-a chicken sandwich and coffee from Krispy Kreme! Now a dog walk (if it's not too cold) and then some laundry!

I got a bouquet of flowers and some dipped strawberries from my California grandchildren (an early birthday present-the actual day is Monday). The two items were delivered separately, and I had already written a thank you note for the flowers before the berries showed up. Postage is expensive, so I steamed open the envelope and put an updated note card in.

I'm surprised and disappointed that things escalated the way that they did.

I received my Imperfect Foods order today. I got lamb tamales, fresh produce, smoked salmon, bacon ends and some other goods.

I have not gotten my credit or debit cards in the mail yet. I got a temporary card for my MS account today to do a 5G shop.

@walesmaven and HonnyBrown: Ya' gotta wonder: even without the tweets and what not, how many of these people were Jonesin' for something? Would they have done this for attention? To get their covid ya-yas out? Just because they could?

Recently, some alleged video of Trump supporters attempting to stop a rioter surfaced. I did not know if this was real, fake, and/or lame news. I merely mention it. But if this is true, there may be some distinction between Trump supporters and other people who wanted something else.

If it were not inappropriate, I might wonder aloud if The Gentleman from Arkansas who sat upon Pelosi Throne had any ironic motive in mind. But that would incite a riot, or get my head cut off, or something.

SEA, the Capitol has soft barriers to prevent inadvertant access. The is a ton of security in the area. I'm sure there are snipers.

Errands. lol about all the ridding, removals, banishments, finger pointing, and impeachments. Nancy Pelosi need look no farther than her nose in order to find someone to impeach. She failed to allow our elected officials to have ample time to read, study, and contemplate significant proposed legislation. She bade an earlier house to vote on ACA in order to find out what was in it. Oy.

Perhaps the entire Congress should impeach itself and be removed from office and all communications due to its chronic failure to tamp down Nancy Pelosi's rampant and hypocritical power madness and egregious misuse of the sensible and methodical democratic processes.

Good luck flying that American flag. Maybe you can use it as a tablecloth. One of my friends lives in an apartment complex near me. He was flying his American flag on his balcony and the apartment owner demanded he remove it. The reason given is that there are Muslims who live in the complex near him. They made repeated complaints because they felt threatened by seeing an American flag. He called the news and only one station thought it was news. And he found out that's not unusual. It's happening everywhere.

How very odd. My Muslim neighbors fly their American flag proudly and actively engage in community life. Might that be because this is a welcoming community ?

We have an American flag below our Canadian flag. A flag is our souveneer when we travel. That is the last place we traveled.
