My friends are trying to binge watch seasons 1-6. When I spoke to them last night Ned Stark was still alive. LOL

I was a fan. Once the storyline started to deviate from the books I lost interest. Maybe I'll give it another go this winter, and binge watch it. The books are lengthy but definitely a good read.

Now I am confused. The "mad king" raped Ned Starks sister. I think that makes them half sister and brother. I could easily be wrong as the family tree is quite complicated. Two more days!

They split the last season into two seasons. I believe the next season is going to be the last one. Of course, GRRM will probably stretch the books out as far as possible. I'm debating on putting them on the Kindle for the long winter here in Kentucky. Seems fall is already here and it's getting chilly.

How am I going to wait until 2019?? I have a feeling it is already filmed and they are just dragging it out. I may have to release the hounds.

I read the books, years ago, well before the series, but forgot about them, because he never wrote the next book. So, did the series pass up the books? or did he finally write another book? I finished watching today, and I know it passed the last book I read.
