Doctor Who - Warning, Spoilers Sweetie

Any Doctor Who fans out there? What did you think of the season finale? Will we see Bill or Nardole again? Is the next incarnation going to be the first Doctor again? How do you feel about the rumors of The Doctor's next incarnation being a woman?

The new Doctor has been announced. As a long time Who fan, what do you think, Lisa? I just started, on season 6, but I look forward to seeing what she does with it.

Edited to add: I'm not a hard core fan, but do sit down to enjoy an episode before I have to fix dinner.

I haven't seen the announcement although I'm terribly disappointed it is a she. Personally, I don't understand the need to drastically change an iconic character and felt the same way when they made the new, sensitive James Bond.

I'm curious why it was the Dr Who and not Game of Thrones thread that elicited this response. I mean I understand Game of Thrones is a significantly better show (in the same way that a Ferrari is a significantly better car than a Yugo).
Also I am curious why this thread was so horrific that it required three (3) posts of essentially the same thing with increasingly upset sounding remarks.

I agree there is only one true James Bond, the others are just poor imitations.
