Hello,

I am wondering if I can attach photos to a post. I know you can add a URL, but how about a photo or PDF or something that others can download?

I know there is a way to put a photo into your post and it has been discussed somewhere. Beyond that, I'm clueless, LOL. If you try the search function make sure to change the parameters to all dates. Otherwise the default may only be 30 days and I do know it has been more like a couple of years or more.

when i 1st joined i thouight i read somewhere that forum members dont want pics in posts. i forget reason why. maybe takes too much forum space. some pics neitral for some people but others will get upset.

There were a couple of issues that arose. One member used a photo in her signature line. It was huge, causing each of her posts to be the three to four times the size of yours. Another member took over the recipe thread with photos. The consensus seemed to be the occasional small to moderately sized photo is okay.

OMG. Google Mystery Shop Forum and it brings up photos. One of those was right there for a while. Now if you open the photos there are all these great shots of burgers posted by SteveSoCal, then you scroll down and there is that disgusting picture. I've suggested it be removed. Think about it, someone finding the forum that way doesn't know the context. Not that there is any context to justify the damn thing;
