All Time Favorite Threads

There are a number of posters, who continuously contribute quality material to Mystery Shopping Forum. So, can anyone nominate the best or most informative thread that they have come across on this website?

Thanks in advance.

Finally a positive thread in a sea of negativity that has engulfed the forum lately!

I nominate the first 12 threads in the New Mystery Shopper area, [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

Those threads a a must-read for any new mystery shopper and some of us oldies can learn from them, too.

I'm anxious to see what others nominate as Most Informative.
Not that it's informative as far as gleaning more info on how to shop, but I think the thread that was started about your first and last mystery shop is interesting to read, along with where are you shopping today.

I learn and respect anything Steve writes about, which is usually about Coyle. He taught me about shopping hotels many years ago, his responses are amazing, speaking with knowledge and humor. Listening to a longtime shopper is my preference instead of having a newcomer take over with hardly any shopping experience. I also find "What are you having for dinner" a fun lighthearted thread and my other favorite is the song thread...so much negativity these days, lighthearted stuff makes coming to the forum pleasureable. Having been disappointed with the theme of things lately, I'm opting for fun, and helping newcomers when I can.

I agree with Irene about Steve. Although I believe that this forum is the best resource on the Internet for mystery shopping, I feel it lacks input from people who have had experience working directly for MS firms.

We should encourage people like Steve and current schedulers to input more.
Most informative? I agree with roflwofl. Those threads are classics. Much of what we post in newer threads is similar or the same, except that it is spread out across multiple boards and much time. I appreciate the consolidated information in the permanent threads in the newbie area. smiling smiley

Most amusing? An older thread where someone posted about what to do with napkins that you are instructed to bring home from a shop. What happened to that thread? It was old and closed, but still...

Most needed? Possibly, we need a thread that consolidates the information provided here by persons who work directly for MSCs. moosehoose, do you (or does someone else) have time to mine the forum for threads or posts made by MSC-connected posters? If so, there might be enough information for another classic thread. smiling smiley

I nominate Cettie's story threads. Anyone know when her book is coming out?

Just about every thread Steve and Wales have provided information in has a wealth of reliable information.
