Anyone else using Ibotta?

I started checking it every day before doing any Kroger or Walmart Shops and was pleasantly surprised this month. In about three weeks, I earned $52 in rebates -- all earned from items I put in on my shops. Usually yogurt, bread, cheese, milk, juice, etc. that I could squeeze in on my $9-$12 shop reimbursement. I cashed in for an Amazon gift card and put that towards my phone card for ATT. Win-win. I know I could have cashed out for real money, but I also like shopping on Amazon.

I use those two named as well as Checkout 51. Sometimes it's slow to accumulate, but eventually it all adds up and I can cash out.
Yes! I love Ibotta! I have totaled around $1,400 with just that app but that has been over about 2years the time I’ve been using it. I also use Checkout 51 and Saving Star they are both great as well but Ibotta is the most lucrative in my opinion. Definitely download those apps if you haven’t already, they are legit and I’ve cashed out all of them without any issues.
Jas if you need a sign up code, I can give you a referral. Helps get a little boost. They might not add up as fast for everyone but I had good luck with it this month. I only bought things while on shops, though.

I've not downloaded Savings Star. I might have to check it out. I do have Checkout 51. I use it on cat food :-) Sometimes I'll buy whatever brand on a shop just to donate to the shelter and get the rebates back.

Another app I just started to use is Fetch it has a white/orange logo on the App Store. It gives you points for all grocery receipts and you can cash them out for gift cards. I just started that one about a month ago but it’s pretty good. It’s worth checking out if you are looking to save on groceries. I do a lot of grocery shops so these apps have been a great help to me!
What kind of grocery receipts qualify, only major chains or can it be a local grocer or market?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I believe any grocery store will give you points. I have shopped both smaller grocery stores and large chains and received points from both types of stores.

For Checkout 51 I have used receipts from Dollar General and the 99 cent only store. For Ibotta they sometimes have local stores on their list.

Another to use, if you regularly shop Walmart, is the Walmart Savings catcher, it's competitor add price matching. You just scan your Walmart receipt and it looks thru your local ads for a cheaper price. Of course it has to be a brand name, not generic, same size etc and no produce or liquor.
For Ibotta, there is a list from the Google box (I also think they accept liquor store receipts for branded spirits)

Currently, Ibotta works in every 7-Eleven, BI-LO, CityMarket, CVS Pharmacy, Dillons, Dollar General, Dominicks, Duane Reade, Family Dollar, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Giant Eagle, H-E-B, Harris Teeter, Hy-Vee, Ingles Markets, King Soopers, Kroger, Meijer, Pathmark, Pavilions, Pick 'N Save, Publix, QFC, Ralphs, Randalls, RiteAid, Safeway, Sam's Club, ShopRite, Smith's, Stop & Shop, Target, Tom Thumb, United States Armed Forces Commissary, Vons, Walgreens, Walmart, Wegmans, WinCo Foods, and Winn-Dixie. The store list could change. To see the most current list of stores, visit the Ibotta Support Center .

Mine shows also Dollar Tree, Smart & Final, Raley's, Sprouts(for West Coasters), Whole Foods..... plus others. Jet and Amazon.
I'd bet it's dependent on your location.
I would say so. I think it picks up where you are and suggests those stores. I like that each week it gives you a quarter or fifty cent for a purchase of any item and usually that much off a random item so you can make about $1 easily enough for no real work. I also like the Walmart auto scan of the QR. I've noticed yogurt pops up a lot grinning smiley
