I like #9, #9, #9, #9....

I don't like picked food in general. Pickled eggs brings back memories of the convenience stores in the South when I was growing up where there was this large jar of purple liquid with eggs floating in it at room temperature. Ewww, gross. People would help themselves and put their arms in the jar to pull out the eggs, oh I shudder to think. But all of it sounds gross. I guess if I had to pick one or die, it would be jalapenos because they aren't really in that pickling vinegar brine. And beets? Are you insane?

Yeah, I got that. It was clear as the pickling brine you've been drinking.

I don't know about oysters but canned octopus does taste good. Don't knock sardines, especially those in soybean oil. grinning smileygrinning smiley

matter of fact i do.
Well...well...they do say there is no accounting for taste, and apparently whoever "they" is was thinking of sojo and Brian when they wrote that.

Beets are not good any way you slice them (holding nose in disgust).

Yeah but my blood, digestive system and heart are thanking me for finding value in this vegetable. Try beets in a smoothies. You don't taste the beets. You just know it is in there. :-)
Bwhahahahahahaha. No, it's sushi and steak, LOL. Get it right. I pretty much don't eat anything out of a can, either.

I don't know what I would do with a "live" octopus and/or sardine on my plate. I think they are too large. Smaller portions are my adequate eating size. (Never had them pickled, though.)

Sushi and tube steak, I have never eaten. I don't know what they taste or look like. :-)

good news for you...wednesdays at 7-eleven you can get 2 of these for $1.29...

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich
Want to start your day off right? Then avoid this croissant breakfast sandwich. This feeble excuse for breakfast contains 410 calories, almost half a day’s worth of fat, scads of unrefined carbohydrates, and practically nothing to speak of in the way of nutritional value.

maybe one of their "hot dogs" that sit on those roller thingys all day, too.

or...

Grilled White Chicken Caesar Wrap
It’s in a wrap, so it’s got to be good for me, right? Not in the alternative universe that is 7-Eleven. Somehow they’ve packed more than 2,000 milligrams of sodium — or 85 percent of your recommended daily allowance — into one limp, slightly damp, nine-ounce chicken wrap.

let me decipher this for you cuz you would really have trouble even conjuring this combo up (i had trouble, too)...

sushi made with a tube steak (hot dog) = probably some kind of southern dish that kid rock eats daily?

Well, on a serious note about the sushi, I lived in Japan for a few years and I really enjoy sushi. The other thing, well...we won't talk about that.

My husband caught an octopus once while deep sea fishing. We ended up letting him go. They are very smart and the poor thing was terrified. We had him in the ice chest with the dead grouper and snapper and he was clingling to the lid, I felt really bad and made them put him back in the water. My husband enjoys eating grilled baby octopus. I have had it in octopus and seaweed salad, it was pretty good.

Yeah, I don't care for his music or him in general but I did like his role in Joe Dirt. It was awesome.
