Favorite 60's, 70's TV shows

For those of us old enough to remember watching TV back then (yes I know a lot of them are on TVLAND etc. but I'm most interested in those who remember what their favorites were back then. For me:
Comedy-60's - Petticoat Junction, Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family
70's - MASH
Drama - 60's - I Spy, Mission Impossible
70's - Emergency, Dragnet
Variety 60's - Laugh-In, Smother's Brothers
70's - Carol Burnett
Game Show 60's - To Tell the Truth, What's my Line, Concentration
70's - Match Game, Tic Tac Dough
Soap Opera The only one I ever liked in any decade - Dark Shadows

60s--Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Genie, Hogan's Heroes, Perry Mason, Star Trek, The Twilight Zone

70s--The Brady Bunch, Mash, Fantasy Island, Columbo, Magnum PI, Charlie's Angels, The Six Million Dollar Man

I used to run home from school every day to watch Dark Shadows.
Oh and also in the 70s: All In the Family, The Jeffersons, Good Times, One Day At a Time,
60's/70's...Ed /Sullivan Show Sonny and Cher, Merv Griffin, One Day At A Time, Roseanne, Smother Bros., laugh Inn.
Carol Burnett.

Live consciously....
I've seen every episode of The Waltons at least five times. Loved The Jeffersons, Little House on the Prairie, The Rockford Files, and Hawaii Five-O.

And how could this list be complete without Dallas?

"Let me offer you my definition of social justice: I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree? Well then tell me how much of what I earn belongs to you - and why?” ~Walter Williams
I wasn't alive yet ... 80's baby bahaha but I did like Petticoat Junction, I dream of Genie, Green Acres, The Jefferson, All in the Family, The Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman, Bonanza, Little House, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Waltons, Dukes of Hazard (79), Gunsmoke, Bewitched, Gilligans Island, The Brady Bunch, Mr. Ed, The Munsters, Gomer Pyle, Happy Days, Lavern & Shirley, Good Times, Sanford & Son, Threes Company, Chips --- Occasionally Dallas & The Partridge Family but not a lot on those two -- and some even older like I Love Lucy, Lone Ranger, Leave it to Beaver, Ozzy & Harriet, Bandstand....

Even growing up poor, we still managed to have an old floor model/dial style TV set and an antennae mounted up on the roof. Now, we have an antennae up there for my hubby and his HAM set up (yes, he's licensed).

LOLOL! Pick up a few thrift shops and maybe you will find some of these oldies in the oldie formats such as VHS and DVDs. You did keep your old equipment, right? R i g H t????? While you are there, you might find a few original or compiled oldie radio stuff, too. But you didn't hear it here.

I was born in the eighties but through Netflix I watch a lot of old shows. I think the oldest I have watched so far is The Dick Van Dyke Show. I also like Cheers (currently watching Season 10)
Love Frasier, Becker and Full House too.
I as well forgot more than I remembered. but above post reminded me I used to love Cheers which came later.
Remembering my Mother watching Lawrence Welk (ah one ah two), and I'd leave the room having been a music snob....Mary Tyler was my favorite...so many great shows.

Bonanza, The Lone Ranger, Mash, Cheers, Hill Street Blues, Magnum PI, China Beach, Charlie's Angels, Hawaii Five-O, Little House. I know I'm forgetting some. I've heard there is a way to convert VHS to CD.

I think some of those are 80's but still fun. I'm glad I started this. It's fun remembering the TV past. A lot of the stuff from the 90's on I couldn't watch. I love the suggestion about picking up old stuff at thrift shops. I've just recently discovered old time radio thanks to Sirius XM's radio classics. The older the better.

No one mentioned Maverick, one of my favorites. Along with Star Trek and Twilight Zone. Still watch re-runs of Columbo on Sat & Sun. Very good lessons of observation to be learned from Lt Columbo. Maverick re-runs come and go around here and I catch the Twilight zone and Star Trek marathons when they play. Another one not mentioned - The Honeymooners. "Hello there ball"
Dark Shadows - I also raced home from school to watch!
Lassie
Lost in Space
Sky King
and of course I Love Lucy
Any little girls who weren't in love with Little Joe or Ricky Nelson?

I was a little young for those 2. I wasn't really interested in boys before they went off the air. But that reminds me of Big Valley and Heath (Lee Majors for the youngsters). I had to run home from school too for Dark Shadows. It was kind of a forbidden fruit. Barnabas Collins was really hot.

Keep in mind that if it's stuff you didn't see when you were a kid there is a good chance you are going to think it's cheesy as heck and wonder what is wrong with us that grew up watching it!
I wasn't born here so everything is new and cool to me. I have seen The Dick Van Dyke show and I liked it. In fact, I like the old shows better than the new ones. There is something magical about the old shows for me.
Most of the TV show mention above can be seen on ME TV. So it is hard to try to remember a show if it "currently" still comes on. The old cowboys shows like Cheyenne, Rawhide, Bonaza, Palladin Rifleman, Gunsmoke, JohnnyYuma. and etc all have a place on TV. Even Wild Wild West with James West and Articus Gordon. If you get up earlier in the morning you might see Patty Duke. Archie and the gang, or Dobie Gillis. Some sunday have Dennis the menace and the Hulk. grinning smileygrinning smiley.

I didn't watch anything to do with cowboys or the West. Comedies were the best, I'd watch them today, nothing like it on T.V....good enough to mention again. Mary Tyler Moore, Cher, Roseanne, Carl Burnett, Happy Days,
Three's Company...and I don't think they make movies like the old ones. everything I mentioned is timeless and classic, and watched over and over.

Live consciously....
Yeah, the name is misleading...Wild Wild West was not about cowboys, and it was pretty funny at times.

Dr. Lovelace was the best villain ever!!!!!

I never cared for Roseanne. IMHO it was part of the sharp decline in TV comedy.

Perry Mason and Maverick both started in the 50's, very well done. I was always a fan of Hogan's Heroes and The Wild Wild West, very funny. Some others like Charlie's Angels, for other reasons.
