I finally made it back to this once-fun topic. At least I have been useful in one way here: as a mirror.

So you knew that they joined solely to post spam links and thought that was okay to do, interesting.

When did you start thinking that you knew what I knew and what I thought about anything?

Nobody knows what's going on inside your head, SEA, LOL. Never thought I did and really don't care to start.
So, why did you bother to disrupt someone else's thread about Valentine's Day? Might you have reported the post quietly and let the thread continue?

@OP: Because of this thread, I have a great example of what not to do and a few ideas for non-romantic Valentine gifts for people who feel left out at this time of year.

I just sent my daughter a V-day card saying, "If you don't love your Mother, don't open this"...I thought it was funny, and I put cough drops in the package. Chicago is below zero, so practical does it.....can't gut gussey with your daughter on V-day, but can't forget her, and since we both have the same humor, it workss......smiling smiley

I've been married for 38 years. I rarely remember to put on the jewelry I've collected over the years. The cats eat any flowers that come into the house unless I put them on the fireplace mantel. Lent starts tomorrow, so I don't want chocolate.

I've been looking for a new pair of brown dress walking shoes for my hard-to-fit feet. The best ones I've found cost $150, more than I want to spend on myself. I asked Hubby if he would buy them for me...saying I would think lovingly of him every time I put them on :-)

Who made you forum moderator, SEA? I wanted to ask the OP why they posted spam links. I am allowed to do that if I want.
