Mountain Cacher has finally finished moving... again.

And we are finally in the new place and a new (old to me) state!

Shewy. \m/ All titles are switched over, all utilities moved, etc etc. All rental mobile homes sold. Both storage facilities emptied and accounts closed.

We are both working -- I have insurance that is company covered but he's still without it as a 1099 (we are looking to rectify that ASAP).

Now to switch my license and finish taxes. At least we sold some rentals, so that should make the dent of paying Uncle Sam a little less bleh.

The cats are having a field day. We have an open floor plan so they can run laps. Or I can run laps. Same-same.

Congratulations! The state to state moves are exciting, I think. Are you still in a rural area?

Ugh, I've been through 4 of those, at least 1,000 miles each. I know what it involves.

What's done is done. An egg cracked cannot be cured.
There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
Four? I can't keep track of how many moves I've done. Four alone were between the East and West coasts.

Yes, still very rural. The town we moved to has 6,000 residents so it's a bit larger than our last 900 person town but this entire state only has 1.8 million through the 55 counties. This county has 60K. We are about 2 hours outside of Roanoke now and about an hour from Bristol so there's opportunity to cross state lines and make a nice weekend shopping. I could also take off and be in Greensboro in about 2 hours for work. We are enjoying the space. His last job had us living in a 300 sq ft hotel for a year. Now we have about 1200 sq ft. Still tiny for most folks but spacious for us - particularly in this area and state.
