Making money from refering shoppers/merchandisers

Some merchandising companies and mystery shopping companies have referral programs that gives you a reward for referring people to their company. Do you guys make any money from this? After posting my referral links on some job boards, I'm beginning to get lots of messages about the jobs that I've posted.

I wouldn't refer anyone other than my niece who lives 1,000 miles away (she is smart and reliable). I have had people ask me about shopping and I usually don't bother referring them for a couple of different reasons. One is: in my area, I don't want competition. Another one is: what if the person flakes on jobs or does a poor job with observations or report writing? How is that going to make me look, being the one that referred them?
I have not referred anyone for the purpose of making money. I have referred people on the basis of their known skills. I have practically begged a few people to try out some of the assignment types that I have completed. I have observed them at work in other positions and imho they would be just right for those jobs. I would not receive a kickback. However, If they would take those jobs, the outcome would be great! I believe that clients would be thrilled. So far, they have turned me down because they are busy with family and multiple jobs. (And, I suspect, they are afraid to come out from behind the desk or emerge from the security of their cubicle at work.) But one person will be available soon, and I think I can talk them into trying some of the gigs.

We can do mystery shops as a way to influence customer experiences and get money for that. And, we can attempt to influence customer experience by matching people with jobs. Of course, we all are polite and reasonable as real customers and we use this to reinforce appropriate employee behavior. R i g h t ?

For the $5, no. My apt complex pays $250 as a referral fee. I have Facebook and Snapchat pages where I get paid every now and then.
I referred a shopper here and got $10.

I referred my sis in law from Boston and got a whopping $3 from Bestmark. She got bored after a month and quit.
