Haha, yes, good news comes in different ways, waking up alive and without pain is good news. Having my house professionally cleaned today is my good news. Winning the lottery would be great news...smiling smiley

All is weller than weller than... well... something... in my world... It is always a good time when Cosmo arrives. It is educational and informative. The issue that arrived today will teach me all about deep sex, belfies, and butt facials. What the bel is a belfie!?!?! So, off I go to learn something new, which is always or maybe just sometimes a good thing.

Irene, so glad to hear your trip was so enjoyable for you and your daughter! Now....all that dirty laundry to wash...haha!! Hope you get some rest now that you're back home.

I have some good news. My son & daughter-in-law are going to have another baby!! The baby is 9 weeks along in gestation. I've know for about a month, but was sworn to secrecy until their first OB visit, which was last Friday. Then they sent me a photo of the ultrasound, showing their precious little baby! We've been talking with my almost-3 year old granddaughter about it somewhat, and reading books to her about being a "Big Sister" and "Waiting for Baby" type thing. So I asked her on the phone yesterday if she went to the drs with her mommy, and she said yes. So I asked her what she saw. She told me, "I saw the baby on the computer in the x-ray" ... not too bad for a not-quite-3-year-old's comprehension!!
GuysMom...congrats to you and your family.....and yes, unpacking, laundry, catching up on computer, but all worth it.

Today is hubby & my 30th anniversary! WOO-HOO!! But we're spending it each recovering from our own cardiac procedures we've unexpectedly undergone in the past week! But at least we're still here to enjoy each other's company for a while longer!!

I'm cashing out! I keep all of my mystery shopping earnings in a separate account so that the expenses and reimbursements all flow in and out of the account. After about 8 months after I started MS'ing, I cashed out a chunk of it and bought myself a LV bag. That was about 18 months ago and I rebuilt the account. Now I'm cashing out again and booked a trip to Germany for myself and husband, and bringing our 6 month old. Taking advantage of DH being on paid paternity leave. I don't plan on doing any mystery shopping, unless it's food at the airport. This is strictly fun and relaxing, and I'm so excited.
oops. The good news is that I found the previous post and deleted it in favor of a more current, completely wonderful bit of goodness. Today, the people at the dentist office were wonderful. They were sweet about my plight (old lady missing front tooth, looks like poster child for the kiddie song about two front teeth for Christmas) and they provided a sensible solution to the issue.

They more than made up for the ones I complained about yesterday. They were so good that I can postpone my considered de-genderization for awhile. I can still be female, woman, me. There are still some good ones in the group. smiling smiley

Bringing bags to Goodwill, looking for a washer (job), then going to Barnes@Noble to see what's new in books. Will linger, maybe read the rag magazine's, home to do report, play on computer and do laundry. Then Red Robin for early dinner, 20% off and free appetizer....trying fried pickles......waiting for summer to be over....

Tons of errands, library, Trader Joe's, they stopped carrying my favorite blinze's, but should start again the end of Oct.....home to do housework, renter is back after a month traveling Europe. Will hear some interesting stories.
Trying to schedule shops (a few), haven't heard from Iposos about job due yesterday (Sunday). Got my restaurants, thanks Pete, your the best.

A timeshare weekend without the stupid hard sell meetings? You win the board. I have had a pretty cruddy two weeks, so my good news is I am here, and healthy enough to be enjoying this thread.
