I suppose it's that time of year...
I told a friend about shopping a couple years ago and have regretted it since. This week alone, FIVE individuals in my town have messaged or came up to me at work asking about shops and getting started or getting more information from me. I just sort of brush it off and tell them it was short lived, I wasn't making enough money, it was too much trouble, or I haven't done it in years...I've even told the friend I gave it up because it was a hassle, low fees, etc.
Today, took the cake. A woman in my building said that my friend told her about my experience and how I was making thousands of dollars a month and basically getting me everything free... "for hardly any real work at all." After I gave her a quick run down of how stressful some jobs were, how much time they took, that I was driving four hours in one direction for a single shop at times, and that the pay worked out to about $2-$4 an hour for most jobs, she seemed less interested.
The weather is getting warm and everyone is coming out of hibernation. I really have slacked off on shops, though.
