Curious to know how you got your names, using my real name, I wonder how some of the names here were born? Funny stories accepted, bonus attached for the best story!!!

Barbara is my first name AGE was the name of out antique store. I combined the two, liked the way it looked and sounded and have used it ever since.

I am very frugal with my money (always have been, even as a kid) and I am a crazy cat lady.

JAS is my initials, FLA is where I used to live, and I used to be a licensed massage therapist.

I have been to Wales 11 times, usually for 2-3 weeks each time. So, back in the day when AOL had member-run travel advice boards, someone dubbed me "the Wales maven." I had all of the guides and maps and rail timetables to provide a lot of logistical detail for travelers to Wales. Hence, the name.

I'm honestly not sure about the Sassy part. I think someone said I was on the Sassy side and I just went with it. Now, almost always, when I need a user name, I use Sassy or some variation. Even my first Yahoo email had Sassy in it. I originally used 3 M's because my maiden name initials were MMM but one time when I went to use Sassymmm, it was already taken so I added an M.

I just wanted to be a mum badly after I could not carry my first baby full term. Then I was pregnant with twins and lost one during the second month. I just wanted someone to call me mum and God finally listened. So, here I am.

i put the letters of my real name, minus 2 that would be to obvious, in an anagram program and selected a combination that looked like a 'real' name, then made a nickname from that. I also use the full new name for a dummy email account for all those times when you need to create a profile or give an email address, and don't want to use your real info. Basically it's a huge spam account! LoL

I guess I didn't put to much thought into my name. Shopper is what I am and 8 is my house number.

And here I thought it was because 1-7 were taken...lol
