What are you doing for Mother's Day.....

Brunch with a couple woman whom (like me) do not have their kids with them....would just as well stay home.

Remembering Mom. Volunteering. Calling Mother-in-law.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. - Lao-Tzu
I will be spending the day with my mom after so many years. I am thinking of going to the movies with her or maybe a spa day, whatever she prefers. They are boarding the flight as we speak.
@Irene_L.A. I suppose you have a flight to catch too.
@Irene_L.A. Sorry Irene. I do hope you have a wonderful time together when you meet her. Moms can make any day Mother's Day when they are with their kids. Doesn't need to be the May of 13th!

I will be at Myrtle Beach for a dance competition for my daughter. After the 7:30 PM awards, I will drive 4.5 hours back home. Yay. Hopefully, I'll remember to call my mom.
Just got a beautiful handwritten card from my daughter, and of course I didn't wait to open it....so heartfelt, just made a memory,....she loves me, she loves me...smiling smiley

]I know how difficult that is..my sister has Dementia and in an Assisted living home, the cousins are going to see her in June, she will remember us, but is in her own world..still is being well cared for.
