Cookies driving me crazy...

I'm unable to login into a site I go to, and am told to clear my cookies, so, how does this effect one's computer?

If it's a Sassie company, you have to wait a minute first...because if you log in too quickly for some reason it tells you to clear cookies.
No not a job site, but I guess this can happen on any site...would you erase cookies?

Absolutely. Or change your setting to either reject or prompt for cookies. Then you can choose which sites you allow to place a cookie. See [cookiesandyou.com].

I would not erase cookies, no I would not. It would reset my saved passwords to nothing and I would have to put them all in again and that could take days! Instead, I would go to the saved website on my browser and erase the website that's asking to erase cookies. Then, go back to that website and start over with them only.
When I clear my cache on Chrome the passwords are not reset.

I decided not to erase cookies, I changed from Edge to Google Chrome and hand put my password into all my accounts....I need a drink and a cookie.
