Great news from Thailand!

The entire team and their coach have been rescued.

I'm SOOOoooo happy about that! I just kept thinking, "What if it were a child of mine down there?" I've been praying a lot for all of them to get rescued. So thrilled to see it. Now I hope they can rest and get back to optimum health!

Amazing effort by both the rescued and the rescuers! So sad that one of the skilled divers died in the effort. Only such willingness and dedication could get the job done.

I was just thinking this morning how horrible that coach must feel...if I were in his shoes I would feel tremendous guilt about the diver who lost his life. I am sure he feels responsible for it since if he hadn't decided to go on this adventure and was both unskilled and unprepared (weather reports, etc.) then no one would have needed rescuing. That must be hard to live with.

I am so happy about that! I also have been praying for them.

He should. He knowingly placed children at risk and is responsible for the death of a rescue diver. All for what he called "an initiation."
