Paypal Changes

I just noticed this when I went to transfer a payment from Paypal to my bank:

"On Nov. 7, Instant Transfers will cost 1% of the amount you transfer, with a maximum fee of $10.00. Use your eligible debit card for Instant Transfers. Transfer times vary by bank and may take up to 30 minutes."

Looks like I'll be pushing for more direct deposit MSCs and get a Paypal debit card.

That's only if you want your money instantly. It's still free if you are okay waiting 24 hours.
This does not change the process of depositing money to your bank free. For the last few months, there has been a charge for instant transfer. If you want to pay and get your money transferred instantly, you select that payment transfer method and approve the charge. If you just want to transfer your money to your bank the regular way, there is no charge. If I transfer on a weekday it usually is in my bank the next day. On weekends, it usually takes a little longer. But it's still free.
If you do decide to get a debit card I recommend upgrading to a business account so you can get the Business Debit Mastercard. The regular account debit card has higher fees for cash withdrawals unless you are lucky enough to have an in-network atm around. Also, if you buy gas at the pump the business card only puts a $1 hold (when you select credit) but the regular Cash Card puts a $75 hold regardless of whether you select credit or debit.
Anyone have a good, viable alternative to PayPal? Now that they've gone all SJW, I'd rather not use them.

iShop, I had a bad experience with PayPal back in April. It left a sour taste in my mouth, and I choose not to use them unless I absolutely have to.

I changed all of my MSC payments to something other than PayPal. Only one MSC solely used PayPal. I was okay with that. One MSC paid using a money card. I'm still waiting for payment for my July shops. The remaining companies are direct deposit or check. I have not run into any problems with those.

Back in April, I bought a coat online and paid by PayPal. I returned the coat because I didn't like the fit. After a week, I had not received a credit. I called Kors, and they have no record of the transaction. I called PayPal and they gave me a provisional credit. They reversed the credit when I could not prove that I shipped the coat. I called Kors and explained what happened, hoping they could do something. They told me that my refund was rejected by PayPal.

That was when the fun started.

For gas shops, I use a preloaded station card. To get money out of PayPal, I go down to Walmart by a Little Debbie honey bun for a buck and change and get whatever amount that I need as cash back. But I have been told that I have to go in for a heart cath for a possible stent. So I can't get Little Debbies any more. And boy is the wife upset. Well, I can get them, but I am not supposed to eat them. It's not a mystery shop, so I ain't giving them away. So I can just see it now Old man arrested outside of Walmart because he was reportedly giving away pastry snacks. And some mother turned him into the cops because she is a snowflake.

I'm sorry sir, the grammar police have been notified. You are not floating above Walmart. Walmart is not next to a Little Debbie Honey Bun. Why is your wife upset you can't eat Little Debbie Honey Buns? You can give them all to her and she should be happy. And no, you can not see this scenario you present. Perhaps dream or imagine it, but definitely not see it. Snowflakes are frozen and crystalized water vapor. They can not call the cops on you or bare children,.

@2stepps I hope the cath goes well. What about buying something off of your regular grocery list? I buy my cat's canned food.
I had to try 3 times to get to regular paypal which comes the next day.....the popup kept appearing, but a double click worked.
