When my son was 4 years old, back in '92, George HW & Barbara stopped by a nearby airport on a campaign stop (before he lost out to Clinton). My husband took our son to see him at the airport, and had our son on his shoulders. They were close enough to the front of the line so that Mrs. Bush noticed my son on my husband's shoulders. She stopped in front of them and said, "Oh George, look at that little boy's gorgeous red hair!" My husband still talks about it, my son doesn't really remember it. Nice memory for my husband, though.
