Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle and took him In!”

A journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step.

Thank goodness I'm too stupid to be mental!
Children are the responsibility; grandchildren are the reward.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.

Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. This is not philosophy. It is physics.

My grandmother and grandfather were a hoot. Grandpa was laid back, spoiled his grandchildren, and drank a bit. Grandma, loved her grandchildren, but was more of a disciplinarian. I always laugh when I think of what she frequently said to my grandfather
"Harry, you know I don't 'low no got d#*m cussing in my house!"

I'd go on a diet, but that would be an insult to the fine people who make PECAN PIES and CHESS PIES!

Don't worry or obsess over what you can't control.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
^ Well, that wasn't an old one.

I heard this one given by a best man, once. He said it was an Irish blessing:

"May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live."
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.....

Irene, in my case, I only seem to be as happy as my least happy child. If they are struggling with something in their lives, I end up commiserating with them which tends to bring me down a notch or two...
