What's in a name....

Some alias names here are strange, should one be judged by their name, what does a name say about you.
My name Irene means "peace" and is of Greek dissent. I really wouldn't be able to give myself another name, guess I am who I am.

My username probably sparks some people to think, "we sticklers and grammarians hate her!" And, they would be right. The name is wrong from their perspective.

Mine is because "Sybil" was already taken.

OMG people. It's a joke.

I was actually speaking of some names on this forum....being my snarky self, why would they want to be known as such...the wonder of it all.

I think there is a similar thread about user names. Mine are my initials and the name of a favorite horse I had at one time.
My main motorcycle is an FZ-09, hence, Niner. I was debating using the name I use for everything. It's pretty obvious to an MSC who I am if they cared, since how many lawyers teach physics?!?

These name threads are always interesting.
Shop is what I do, 8 is my house number.

Oh, wow, I haven't thought about Sybil in a long time. I wonder what ever happened to her? I think she got suspended and then basically said, "F--- it."

I am a retired massage therapist who once lived in Florida. Does everyone remember back when all states had 3-letter abbreviations? Wow, that seems like such a long time ago. That's because it WAS such a long time ago.

Now we know your house number. We'll all be over for dinner tonight! Please serve it with some fava beans and a nice Chianti!

Speaking of FLA, you may remember when 1 was Dade, 2 Duval, 4 Hillsborough. I forget who 3 was. Broward maybe.

Hate to admit it, but I remember.

What happens if you move?

Stormraven73 has been my username everywhere for years. "Storm" because, hey, I live in Tornado Alley. "Raven" because I have always been fascinated by Corvids, and especially ravens, for their intelligence and ingenuity. "73" is my birth year.
OK, I admit I had to google it. I've learned my something for today.
