Spring in Tornado Alley

Spring is in full swing here in tornado alley. I had to reschedule the end of a route yesterday (for the second time). I cancelled a demo this morning, and will probably have to reschedule the other 3.

My schedule this time of year tends to get all kinds of crazy. Is it wierd that I actually enjoy the challenge of scheduling/rescheduling on the fly?

Fine, but thanks for asking. Our weathermen here are far, far more accurate than the rest of the country. You have to be when dealing with tornados, as minutes count. We knew days ago when and where the storm would hit, and 24 + hours ahead we knew tornadoes were "likely." I cancelled my demo well in advance.

The good news is that there was only minor damage near the store. If you've never seen a small tornado, they often jump up and down like a yo-yo, and only stay on the ground for a few seconds or minutes at a time.
@stormraven73 Stay safe out there! I can only imagine how crazy your schedule looks during this time of year. I hope that the companies you work with are lenient with scheduling given the potential for severe and dangerous weather. Good luck with the rest of your schedules this week!
OMG. Schools are closed today due to weather. SPRING weather. First time for everything, I guess.

I had a casino shop scheduled for yesterday and when I arrived the wind was blowing so hard I couldn't get my car door open. It was raining so hard that by the time I finally got the car door open and inside the casino, I was soaked. I had another shirt and jacket in the car but that was the problem, going back out to the car. The town near the casino was flooded with cars parked on streets water past their doors.
