Bart Starr passed away on May 26. He was 85. Prior to that, he was 15 with the Green Bay Packers as they were molded and shaped by Vince Lombardi. This is what he said about the Lombardi days: “I loved the meetings. I never, ever was bored or tired at any meeting we were in with Lombardi. I appreciated what he was trying to teach. He was always trying to raise the bar.”
