Samsung S9+ Fast Charger Recommendations?

So lately I have been doing quite a bit of work for a company that has an app based reporting system. When I do a route of locations, by the end of the day my S9+ phone battery is pretty low, even if I keep it plugged in between locations. I use the USB cable that came with it and plug it into an adapter that fits into my cigarette lighter cavity. I need something that will charge it faster but isn't too expensive. Any recommendations?

You could try an external battery pack. It fits right over your phone. It's protective case that the phone plugs into. It will add extra weight, because it's a battery, but they have saved me so many times. Now I use one daily and keep an extra charged one in my work bag. Something like this: [www.ebay.com]
Yeah! Since I will be using it in my car in between locations, it won't matter if it's heavier. Thanks! The drop down menu shows S9 5000 mAh and S9+ 5500 mAh. What does mAh mean? Also, is that particular model better than others? Do you know if it's something I could find at WalMart? I need it a little faster than when they state it will arrive and I don't really want to spend the extra $ to expedite shipping.
mAh is milli amp hour and is a measurement of storage capacity. Generally, the higher the mAh, the longer the charge will last.

Yeah, I googled it after I asked. I still need to find something by Thursday so I am going to go online to Walmart.com and Bestbuy.com to see what they have in stock.
Stop. Do not pass go. Do not go to Walmart or BestBuy unless you want to pay a lot more than what you would pay on Amazon. For a Galaxy S9, you want a charger that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which is backwards compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0

Fast Charge 3 will charge your phone from 0% to 100% in 2 hours. Go to Amazon and search for "Galaxy S9 fast car charger". You will see lots of options at about $10. Pick one that has good reviews. One that also says that it does "adaptive fast charge" is even better. I suggest one that will charge two devices at full charging rate.

If you can find one at the same price point at Walmart of BestBuy, go for it.

Search for this one on Amazon: "iRAG CRS1 Car Charger compatible for Samsung Galaxy S10/S10 Plus/S10E/S9/S9 Plus/S8/S8 Plus/Note 9/8-36W Quick Charge 3.0 Two-Port USB Adapter with 6ft Braided USB Type C to A Fast Charging Cable Cord ". It will fast charge two devices and comes with two cables with the correct USB Type C ends needed for the S9. $11.04 for this one. There are other comparable ones, but this will get you started on the search.

When I went to France, I picked up a power pack on Amazon. I used it on the flight and during the day. Search Amazon for portable power banks. The USB side of the wire goes into the bank, and the phone side goes into your phone. Use an S7 wire in reverse to charge it. It takes 12 hours to charge initially.

JAS - just look for the higher mAh number - 8000 or over. Also, if you use eBay you may get a GREAT one for $20, but you may also get crap that can damage your phone. If you notice that your phone starts running hot, I would discontinue using the external battery.

JAS - Here's a good one. 20k mAh and quick ship for $30. On the CDW site - I use for work; they're a reputable site. [www.cdw.com]!
Monk-N-Nut, I had to find something fast (I need it tomorrow morning). I found an alternative that is going to work out just fine I think. I definitely appreciate you taking the time to provide the helpful information. Thank you Honny and myst4au also. Have a great day, everyone!
