Facebook Scam Alert?

Hi guys,

Not exactly mystery shopping related but I know a lot of people do different side jobs here and wanted to ask if you think the following job offer was legit.

So we are a new Canadian/US startup (marketing agency) looking for candidates that are interested in helping us with product research. We are looking for North Americans that can help us gather data via their Facebook ads. We then use this data to determine the demand in Canada in the wellness and health industry. You would be launching ads on our behalf on your www.facebook.com/adsmanager. Obviously, we pay for the ads by using our own payment method.

As compensation for helping with us with our research, we will reward you $300/month, paid weekly via PayPal.

Please keep in mind that we do not ask for any personal/confidential information from your end. We only need access to your Facebook Ads Manager, which you can revoke at any time.
Benefits:
-> Earn an easy Pay-check every week
-> Pays out $300/month (paid weekly)
-> Easy-to-do from home social research job. Only 10 minutes to 1.5 hours a month of work

Before we proceed, please verify a couple of things:

- Has your Facebook account been active for more than 1 year? Please send me a link to your Facebook account.
- Have you ever used Facebook ads? If yes: has your account ever been flagged?
- Have you lived in North America for 1+ years?
- Please mention which province or state and the city you're from

I will reach out to you shortly once you answer the above questions!

Regards,

P.S. Let me get some common questions out of the way: We’ll be posting stuff like recipes, articles, memes…all the good stuff! As well, the ads will never be tied to your name. None of your friends will see it. Nobody will ever know the ads are coming from you basically. Facebook keeps ads private and treats them as a separate entity.

Sounds to good to be true right? But I am wondering what could they do with access to just my Facebook ads?

It sounds too good to be true. They could have malware embedded in the links.
