2. Drag out all that stuff from under the sinks, clean/reorganize and put away that which is still viable.
3. Rip more of my music CDs to transfer the MP3s to thumb drives to play in the car.
4. Bake at least one thing per day--cookies, a cake, a pie, a couple of loaves of bread, etc.
5. Work my way through the 'flags' in my most recently read cookbook and read through another cookbook to flag recipes that look promising. Tonight's recipe is a sticky honey chicken that is in the crock pot and smelling good already.
6. Go through the medicine cabinets and pitch/properly isolate for disposal anything near or past expiration. Put on the grocery list anything expired or close to expiration that needs to be replaced.
1. Homeschool my kids while the schools are shut down (til the end of April!)

5. Garden, garden, garden
6. Be grateful for my Kindle Unlimited subscription
7. Be grateful I live in a sparsely populated neighborhood
8. Be grateful that I work at home and that my spouse works in a hospital, so no shut down of work for him or me.
1. Buy extra dog and cat food and litter. (no one is going to help with this).
2. Go to church's for can goods and other food.
3. Go on a toilet paper scavenger hunt of nearby stores until I find some I can deal with. (I hate Scott tissue feels like writing paper. That's all they had at Walmart yesterday.
Go through closets and select clothing for donation. Anything that I have not worn in the season that is past, unless it is a "very special occasion" item, goes into the donation box.

Clean out and line all the rest of the kitchen cabinets and drawers.

Inventory the freezer and post the inventory on the door of each.

Revisit those recipes from the 1950s that can be made entirely with things off the kitchen shelf: tuna noodle casserole (but using frozen peas);
lentil or bean or split pea soup
pancakes with apple sauce (instead of syrup) and a side of fried Spam
Read the Bisquick website for more ideas for casseroles.

wash the fronts of all of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers

weed all of the pots on the deck and prep them for spring planting.

Freecycle lots of small items that I do not use.

Once the instructions arrive in the mail, do the Census forms on line.

Cast my absentee primary ballot by mail.

At "my age" I "should" be over the ponies and odd up-dos. But I like my long hair. It is not too long for me! As long as I don't harm it, it can get by with one or two trims per year. And this makes up for likely lost shop fees for the next few months or so.

Take long, intense hikes in national forests and state parks - far away from the crowds.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.

@Shop-et-al @CoffeeQueen I too have very long hair. Pls share what you come up with. I just walk around like a hippie, still trying to figure out a better way of cutting them.

Ok, so I found a couple of packs of really cheap toilet paper that will buy me a few more days. I hope I have enough until the shortage is over.
That's a year long quarantine.

Color hair, take a long walk, read, play Candy Crush, write B-day poem for daughter. Continue on book I'm writing called, "Aging in America. the back story".

Live consciously....
I found a Groupon for partial highlights, cut and style. I went Saturday. The guy did a nice job. My hair was nearly to my waist, he just took off the split ends and frizz (about 2 inches). I too like it long.
For those who are out of tp, you can usually find those cheapo paper napkins that will work just as well.
Limit exposure to what passes for news. This is sometimes so nutty and disparate that I want to shriek and pull out my hair! (My beloved long hair, which will wait for all services until spring or summer... )

I actually don't have long hair and that is the problem. My hair is always kept in a medium length bob. with bangs. It's just above shoulder length when it's maintained. I haven't gotten it cut since before my surgery so it's now at that awkward stage where it's too long but not long enough to put in a ponytail or bun. I found a headband to keep the bangs off my face, and so far that is my only solution.
When my hair was that length I just stuck it out until it got long enough for the ponytail. I do remember wearing a scarf over it at times.
It's a ponytail for me! I have very long hair which I very rarely get trimmed. I don't have the time or energy to fix it, although I could for a special occasion.
I've been scrubbing the tub and treating it with chemicals most of the day. (For some reason the mold comes back so I sprayed it with mold/mildew stuff and let it sit.) Then I sprayed it down with oxi cleaner spray and bleach spray and let it sit. I can't kneel so I work in 30-minute intervals, scrubbing for 30 minutes and then letting it sit. I'm almost done but I don't want to stop until it's perfect.

I also need to see about my fish tank. I have a bunch of baby guppies in it so I haven't wanted to vacuum for fear of accidentally sucking up some babies. I have to break that up too because I can't stand for very long but I want my babies to get some clean water and maybe disturb some of the gravel so the gunk can rise up into the water for scooping out. Problem is that my fish know who I am and that I'm the one that feeds them so they don't get scared and hide in the corner they come straight to me!
This is a simplistic method for long, straight hair. You need butterfly and/or other clips. I have ginormous, medium, and weeny clips. I wind/twist hair from about two inches from scalp to ends of hair and clip the coils to my head. If I want a permed look, I use more and smaller clips. If I want less wave, I use fewer/larger clips. If you clip close to the top of the head, you can sleep like this. But if you need to be more glamorous/less monstrish, you can do this at other times and use a blow dryer.

Toilet paper is designed to disintegrate quickly. Other paper products don't, which could lead to plumbing problems.

I'll probably work on my taxes, do more exercise in getting this restaurant shop weight off, and Netflix binge.
Update my medical directives and will. No, not panicking, but this does make one aware that such things need regular updating.
