Absolutely. He had his farewell tour a few years ago and said he wasn't up to touring after that. He had skin cancer and passed while on hospice. Rest in peace.
He left an excellent legacy.

I loved his earlier(non-country) music. Like that song that got lots of exposure during the Big Lebowski. Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In). I also got to meet Kenny Roger's brother a few years ago. Super nice guy, and if you squinted across the room, it could almost be Kenny.
