Anyone watch Jeopardy tonight. One of the categories was to identify a TV show from the episode. The clue was secret shopper. The show was;

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!

A sitcom set in a walmart-type store.

the clue was actually secret shopper cloud 9. It was super easy as was most of the category.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

Looks like they've run out of pre-recorded shows. They're airing reruns. RERUNS! On Jeopardy! Nooooooo!

I'm sure a stage 4 cancer victim can't risk a bit of jeopardy.

Well, they'll have to find a new host eventually, or cancel the show. Alex will die. We all will. Every single one.

I cant even imagine it without Trebek.

They originally announced a plan whereby both Jeopardy and another live show would be taped without an audience. However, I wonder if potential contestants may have backed out, rather than travel across the country at this time. And/or studio staff decided they could not continue to work, given the CA distancing rulings.

The Voice episode airing last night was shot from remote locations. The judges and contestants were in their homes. My hat’s off to them for the work around. But, it couldn’t hold our attention and we started surfing.

I think of summer as a time for reruns of the game shows as well as of the network series, so I'm not concerned that 'summer reruns' have started early this year. From time to time there are group photos of the staff and crew of a show such as Jeopardy and there are around 50 people shown. There really is no need for them to be exposed to potential danger for my entertainment.

I have been delighted that in order to keep current, shows such as Stephen Colbert's late night show are being broadcast from home with his guests in their own homes. It is an interesting and significantly more casual offering than filmed live before an audience.

I thought The Voice was better than I expected. It's a fresh look at the contestants, that is for sure. I was kind of impressed at how well they did without a bunch of staging and equipment. Of course there was some, but it was scaled way back.

I always had stage fright. When I was in my early 20s I sang and played guitar in a band at local bars in my hometown in Florida. I imagine I would do much better not being in front of an audience.

Some shows have worked really well with the distancing, but some are just not set up to be like that..they don't have the showmanship or the glitz and glamour of a big stage. One show that has done really well is Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. I've always liked his show because I've always had Bravo as a guilty pleasure. Most of the guests are "stars" from the Bravo shows, but there's also a good deal of actors, musicians, etc. Rosie was on the other day and I haven't seen her in years. I've actually started watching the View again because you can't talk over each other so much when you're on that way.

It’s been fun seeing the pets and children of journalists and talk show hosts who are working from home. A welcome diversion, especially when they sneak into the shot.

Also checking out their house/furniture/decor. Is everyone else a snoop like me?

I read that Jeopardy still has two weeks of new shows. Two weeks of the rerun tournament, then teachers tournament, and then they will show those two weeks. I have a bad feeling about anything after that.

Alex Trebek has spoken about a possible replacement, sort of...

“It’s probably going to be a woman, somebody younger, somebody bright, somebody personable, somebody with a great sense of humor, so I nominated Betty White," he joked.

He then mentioned some more serious candidates, including CNN's Laura Coates, LA Kings announcer Alex Faust and TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz.

I agree. I really liked how the contestants were able to inject a lot of their personality into their songs.
