The Bourbon Trail stops aren't open right now. I live in Franklin, Kentucky, the first stop on the BT, Dueling Grounds Distillery. When the full trail opens, I'm going to ride it hard all the way to Frankfort.

I'd like to one day return to Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden.

If/when you return, will you wear a mask to restaurants?

LOL. That really is my question. How are people to treat mask wearing + dining.

My family has gotten take-out delivered (by family members) to us during the COVID-19 time, but never eaten out. I wonder what it's like to eat out? I've seen some set-ups where it seems like every other table is empty. Servers wear masks. Should diners wear masks?

I'd heard one person say some people might just say forget it. This is too complicated. And not eat out much. It can ruin the experience, since people like talking and atmosphere when they eat out. A big part of that could be ruined. Mostly, I've only seen pictures of servers wearing masks and not the diners. Still wondering, though.

I think in Asia, some restaurants have clear barriers placed down on restaurant tables when people are eating/chatting - like a bank teller barrier. It definitely changes the experience. It's not as intimate and friendly. Seeing all restaurant staff wear masks can be less "friendly" in a way. Although you know they're wearing them for your safety (which is great!!), you don't see their smiles and you are reminded of the risks associated with being out (i.e., at any moment, you could be infected by someone around you).

For me, I'd love the mask wearing, as it'd make me feel more safe. For others, they might dislike it.

I heard someone say Disney World would be ruined. Kids cannot hug their favorite characters. And it could look scary to the kids seeing everyone with masks.

I really wonder.....will the new normal be with everyone wearing masks and mandatory social distancing at businesses? Will that "ruin" the experience for people and make them less likely to want to pay money for these experiences?

One masked worker joked that people are smiling behind the mask because their eyes smile, too.

I dunno. Disney was many lifetimes ago..... I did not have a need to hug the characters, but I had an uncontrollable urge to own the tackiest hat on the planet (which, inexplicably, was available at Disney place).

Seriously. Kids should be accustomed to masks by now. Will they be able to use other cues to determine who is a masked baddie that is hiding their face and who is a responsible citizen that is covering their faces so as not to spread disease droplets?

I'm looking into DIY dental scalers/scrapers. Worried about a dental visit. I can wait two years probably if need be.

I last went October of 2019. I'm guessing dental staff worry just as much about us too...with our mouths all wide open andn stuff!

Unexpectedly I did treat myself to Girl Scout cookies. Yay! Troop leaders and scouts wore masks and gloves. They made me an offuh I could n' refuuuuse. They were funny, too. I was thinking that if this stand-up humor sells cookies, what else will they do someday?!

So I got a few boxes, put a few bucks in the donation jar, and gave a bit back to the organization that let me earn badges, sing songs, and do other cool stuff that girls my age did at that moment in history,

p.s. They also taught me to share. So. I am cyber-sharing Girl Scout cookies with anyone who wants them.
