Kitchen apparatus redux

Does anyone have a dehydrator sitting in a cupboard/basement/attic/storage unit that they haven't used in a couple years, and don't foresee using in the future?

I would be very interested in purchasing same.

I can pay shipping plus a small price. No big hurry, as garden produce won't come in for another 8 weeks or so.

TYIA.

A good thing to look for on FreeCycle.org The sort of thing people buy and rarely use.
I don't live near a place with a local freecycle but people who live far away still post items. I got rid of my kayaks and piano that way. Posted the items though I lived 150 km away from the city where the Freecycle was based.
Why would you post this here? Try eBay.
The mods can’t moderate buy, sell, trade transactions.
Because on kitchen apparatus thread, people posted about having stored things and never using them, that's why.
People drove that far to pick up your stuff? Or are you saying you posted there, and the people who got the stuff lived much closer to you, but saw that post?

Just curious. You're giving me food for thought!

Another post to get free stuff?
Deleted, because it violated my own rules of civility.

I remember the OP offering to pay for the item and for shipping.

They did drive that far.
But, people near me could have seen it.
There were other posts by people near me.

As Prince said, check Freecycle. There may be people posting from your zip code or nearby. If you don't see what you are looking for, post in the "Wanted" section.

Or try Facebook Marketplace, if you're on the site.

Our "FREECYCLE" is my curb. Whatever I don't want or feel our Church's Thrift Shop doesn't want, I place out on my curb. Guaranteed to be gone within an hour to three. The exception is when I post on our local recycling program. We threw out loads and loads of games, Princess-y Stuff, Barbies, etc. one year. Gave a heads up on the local program and a teacher responded asking if we would save the games for her that would benefit her K class. Gladly so and she did pick everything up within the hour. This is NOT to encourage garbage diving for your needs.
I always have an eye out for good things in people's trash. Last month I was walking by a house and saw the owner had placed some 2x4s and 1x2s at the curb (each about two feet long). I grabbed them, brought them home, and used them to make the spice organizer I had been looking for before everything shut down.

In WLA, alleys were Freecycle. I got some great books that way. When I moved to MD, I put a lot of stuff in the alley behind where I lived. Everything was gone within a day. I didn't have to post an "alley alert."

People, I have placed splintered shadow boxes that my cheap SIL had gifted to DD's, used stuffed animals the like. You get the jist. Dorm room A/C's, curtains, inexpensive mattresses, target furniture, books that the library does not want,.
Cleaned out my kitchen cabinets last year and had steamer baskets, old crock, colanders, spatulas, mugs from everywhere, etc. Gone! I caught one couple taking the entire haul one night, lol. I get complimentary magazines as one of my good friends is a SVP for Hearst Corp.
My paper recycling is picked up in its entirety. It's all good. Kathy and Honny, great for you!
Craigslist, or neighbor for neighbor if in your area. FB Marketplace. These are all the places that I can think of off the top of my head.

I do no put out curbside pick up anymore. I use it for goodwill shops now. Thing is the spousal unit does a lot of shopping at goodwill and I am just returning it again. Unless it is too worn out then it gets converted to rags if it is clothing. Otherwise, it is the burn pile.
