If I were applying I would certainly focus on the reliability of performing all work accepted, dealing with sometimes difficult or unusual situations, following guidelines to the letter and confidentiality of all work materials and outcomes. Good luck to everyone who applies.

The only way this country can re-open is with contact tracers. The only other effective tool is shutting everything down. You saw yourself how well that worked. Every developed country in the world is using contact tracers to try to keep COVID under control. I'd rather have contact tracers calling anonymous people than have the hospitals overrun and endure another shutdown.

We are currently seeing the 'bloom' of COVID cases likely due to Memorial Day activities, and it is expected to get worse. I am trusting here the number of COVID hospitalizations, not the state issued COVID numbers--which are also going up. There is concern that many of those in the demonstrations over the past week will have been infected because when you are singing, yelling or breathing hard you expel more droplets. While there were some attempts at social distancing, there was a fair amount of time when folks abandoned or had to abandon that. Luckily many were wearing masks, but many were not. Contact tracers are going to be busy.

The Word of the Day on Dictionary.com (6/5/2020) is shambolic. It means disorganized. This is the context it was used in:

Yes, post-May 25, we do see any uptick outside of NY/NJ:

Looks like there was a five day lag or so before it took place. Combine Memorial day with the recent protests (now all over the world and not just U.S.) + states reopening and you we could have a toxic brew, unfortunately, of a new wave.

Let's hope not, but it's a definite risk. Your state of FL has rising cases too, Flash.

It probably will make a strong surge back after the last week or so and probably next week but we will have to see. Me, I am taking 5000 IU of D3 every night and trying to stay away from other people. And I quit @#$%& about it being hard to breathe after Mr. Floyd was taken out because of stupidity on someone else's part.

So nice that she is now forced to be in lockdown because someone she came in contact with tested positive. I get it if the person was in ICU and there was prolonged contact. Not so much if it was casual.

I wouldn't want this job. We don't answer the phone if it's a number we don't recognize, and I think most people are that way. I foresee a LOT of phone time with very little result.

Really poor and purposefully inflammatory example. A sex offender has committed a crime. Someone exposed to the CCP Virus has not.

btw, new iPhone updates include tracing. For now, it's a voluntary app. Things like this usually begin voluntary, however.
