Enjoying restaurants with elderly/vulnerable family and friends.

I miss restaurants like you wouldn't believe.
Eating birthday cake after someone blew out the candles.
Shaking hands the first time I met people.
Kissing strangers on New Years' Eve. Preferable of the opposite sex. And under the Mistle Toe.

eta2: "Together . . .

Right now, we're safer apart. Please keep a distance of 6 feet between each other while in line. Thank you!

. . .but apart."
Another sign I cried looking at in the tour. Thought of all the pain NYC saw this year (including losing my uncle) and yet all the love and support the city has shown to each other.

No. I'm fine but I'm going to visit my 93 year old mom who is in a nursing home in Rockland cnty. She has lung cancer and hd covid but recovered. I can rent a car. We have to be 6' away and both wear masks. The visit will last 30 minutes but that is sooooo much better than nothing. smiling smiley
day care, schools running all the time, people not losing thier jobs/homes, people trying to sell masks that don't work.
