Tea Kettle

Does anyone know how I can replace a tea kettle that was part of a very elaborate dinner setting? I have tried eBay and didn't have any luck.

When I broke my Lenox teapot, first I cried. Then I looked on eBay I couldn't find the pattern. I did find just a teapot at Replacement.com but it was over $400. What I did find on ebay was a Lenox teapot with a heavy Sterling overlay that is the same cream bone china. I bought the teapot, sugar and creamer and it looks great with either my Lenox or Noritake.

Thanks Candy Kane! I found my tea kettle and ordered it. I am so excited! I won't destroy this one by putting it on the induction eye.

I replaced some china that were broken in a move at replacements.com. I was very happy.

Yes, my pattern is beautiful. Its Noritake 175. It's 6 Christmas ornaments around the edge of the plates in heavy raised gold. I have a lot of pieces, even ones Replacements doesn't have. I decided i am cutting down to only my Lenox and my everyday white pattern so i will be selling all the Noritake, 2 other European sets packed away, the Apilco, Cordon Bleu and all tbe Johnson Bros. They are all so pretty but i am moving to a smaller house and only keeping things that can fit in the house. So its pare, pare, pare down.

I got my dishes from Freecycle. The pattern is stunning and there were a lot of pieces: full dinnerware set for 8, multiple creamer and sugar containers, multiple salt and pepper shakers, etc. I didn't have the space so I kept the best pieces and gave the rest to a friend.

I saw some pieces on Replacements that I would be interested in having. Unfortunately, I can't see paying $300 for a breadbox.

I know you already found your piece, but for future reference, check out thrift shops. At the one I work, we get a ton of really nice sets and also some single pieces. We sell the full sets at a higher price, but often the singles or extras go in clearance for a buck or two. We get a ton of really cool single pieces of china. I got a Tiffany Squirrel design plate, cup and bowl for less than $5 because the bowl was slightly chipped, which I didn't care because my intention was to use it for the squirrels lol.

Welcome back Jenny! I check thrift shops regularly. They were my first choice. May I will find the breadbox there.

It's odd that I am fixated on that breadbox. It takes me a year or two to eat a loaf of bread so I keep it in the freezer.

A handsome breadbox could be an asset in almost any room! No need to put bread in it!
