What are you having for dinner?

I oven baked chicken last night with leftovers so tonight that will be used to try one of the 'Cheesy Skillets' being heavily advertised on TV using chicken leftovers. Again, all items are shop booty, heavily couponed and mostly reimbursed.

Going to market, beef ribs are $1.99pd (yum), mashed potato's, some veggie or another (best buy wins), and whatever else I find...no diet, so, maybe a slice
of cheesecakeake....I take one day a week and eat whatever meats my fancy!!

Stuffed peppers and skillet-baked jalapeno corn bread. Dessert was toasted pound cake, topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh blackberries.
Specially loving that toasted pound cake! Have you tried the same thing on grillwinking smiley

Just had Sukiaki in Kabukicho

Not on a shop but have a 1 night stopover on Toyko on the way home from a shop.

I have broken a new personal record for distance travelled to perform as shop as well :^)
Meeting a friend at Elephant Bar happy hour, love their salmon rolls and

Currently noshing on whatever snacks are available in the airport lounge, which is: Inarizishi, Ham & Cheese Roll, and Teriyaki Chicken Wrap...strange combo.

They also have a self-serve Asahi beer tap, but it's plastered with signs that say you will be denied boarding on the aircraft if you appear intoxicated :^(
Steve, when will you land....I'm so jealous, I'm actually turning green.

I'm back in LA and just in time for Artwalk in downtown last night. Food trucks were out en masse and I visited the Kimchee truck, Taco truck and Falafel truck....I have to say I miss mexican food the most when traveling (unless I'm in Mexico, that is). It's really hard to find good Mexi food out of the Americas.

I also had teriyaki chicken for dinner on the flight home, plus the funky diner offerings at the airport, so it turns out I ate 3 separate dinners on Thursday.

Since I was crossing the international dateline on the return trip, I actually got back to LA 9 hours before the flight even left, so it was a 42-hour day on Thursday. I think 3 dinners were in order!
Chili, cheese and tortilla chips.

Must be a pasta night ...... I'm also sitting here with a big plate of spaghetti, meatless spaghetti sauce with green olives, heavy on the garlic cloves and parmesan cheese.......
Tonight I tried my hand at making Ham Balls. Not sure if I am a fan or not. I would rather eat my mother inlaw's. We also had baked corn and angel hair butter herbed noodles.

Tomorrow I think sloppy joes and mac n cheese. My absolute favorite. I have cooked "big" for the past week, so it is time for a light and quick dinner night.
Going to see what the free "light dinner" offering is at the hotel that I am shopping. Just in case, I am taking some chili, cheese and tortilla chips to heat up in my room kitchen if the freebies are glop. Have had to pass on the free supper more than once, lol.

I had pasta last night too.lol I made jumbo shells stuffed with four cheese florentine. Have enough to feed an army with one box of shells so come on over.

Today I'm doing a lunch shop at BJ's Brewery and they have great food.

Probably more shells and a salad for supper.

Second dinner after Japanese BBQ, I loved it, my friend was starving after,
so we went to a deli and he had a pastrami on rye, I watched. Gya Kaku
reimbusement was $25.00, I usually go alone and am suffed, not a good idea
to bring a man, bill was 48.00 and he was really starving, he looked at me and
said, good appetizers, now the entree....wrong!

Rotisserie Chicken from the grocery store shop I did today. smiling smiley

Chipolte and not on a shop, yeah no report, so no observations and take out.
Clear the refrigerator dinner--fried chicken from a shop, fried fish and veggie leftovers from a restaurant shop last evening, fresh asparagus from a shop, pasta salad I made earlier this week with items from shops, 'miscellaneous other' that passed the sniff test before reheating.
Fresh Brussel sprouts, roasted and topped with bacon crumbles, Yukon gold garlic mashed potatoes, and Romaine salad and croutons with Caesar dressing.

Upcoming - corned beef brisket and country style ribs. These two will share oven space for several hours. Will finish off variants of these which will then feed us until mid-week.
