Happy Easter (if you observe)

Are you more...

- religious (He is risen!)
- philosophical (Yea! Another reason & season for chocolate!)
- pragmatic (Oooohhh, yeah! Brunch followed by trip to nearest surviving mall to hunt for bargains and burn off the brunch calories!)
- peeps oriented (Family? Candy? Both?! !)
- other (You tell me!)

Do tell...

Probably other....a Christian pragmatic other lol.

From my vantage point...we the people are rapt at the sight of our latest spacecraft escaping the bounds of gravity to reach farther into space.....and Easter images of Christ escaping his earthly bounds to signal eternal life.

and yet I hold the image of the Dark Side of the Moon album in my soul.

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on

Happy Easter!
For me, It's a day to enjoy family. The fun of the Easter Egg hunt was important to me as a child and as a parent/grandparent. Fun and family.

When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.

I no longer go to church. And my faith is my own, and I don't share it.

I do NOT celebrate "Christian" holidays because they do not accurately represent the actual days or even seasons that the actual events took place. I make nice for other folks' kids, and give gifts to the kids at Christmas. But I do not and will not participate in religious ceremonies.
I am religious, and it's the day he is risen. Also, does anyone actually like peeps?
