EPMS Same Property Management Shops

I know it's acceptable to shop several properties for the same management company, as in real life we also all look at several apartments before deciding where to rent. However, what if the scenario for one property requires you to portray a couple, and a scenario for another requires you to portray a family with 2 kids? The leasing agent will know if you looked at other properties with the same management in the area, but will they also know how many occupants you identified as living in your future apartment?
Thanks for the replies!

When I've had occasion to shop multiple properties the MSC knew whether there was a shared database and if there was instructed me to use the same scenario.

Edited for grammar since everything I posted earlier today was so poorly worded it would sound like I was drunksmiling smiley

Talk to your scheduler about this. I always use different names and phone numbers for each property, so there should be no issue. HOWEVER, there is one management compny in NC that tracks by your driver's license number, and will know for sure where you have been ad what name you have used. As always, ask the scheduler first, not later, lol.

Apparently, they didn't have a shared database, so I could use the two different scenarios smiling smiley

I'm curious -- how do you use different names when the agents almost always ask for an ID? I thought one of the rules is to ALWAYS give your real information? I'm fairly new to apartment shops, so I was surprised reading that you use different names and phone numbers smiling smiley.
Honestly I am suprised EPMS is letting you use your real name, as any instructions I have read for any of their apartment shops require you to use an alias. They instruct you to use different forms of your names, nicknames, different last names if you are a woman. So if your name is Robert you would be Rob for one job, then Robbie, and maybe a Roberto if you are feeling a little adventurous, but if must be expainable when they look at your DL.

I was under the impression that walesmaven was suggesting that he/she used entirely different names (and phone numbers), and not variations of it. Hence my comment.
For women, using different surnames is easy. You had over your DL or passport, saying, of course the lease will be in the name of Jones, but I haven't changed back my IDs since the divorce, since I knew I would be moving and just have to do everything twice. Then I vary the use of my first and middle names, and or just initials for one or the other or both. I use Voicenation phone numbers for follow-up calls, which then get forwarded directly to my email, so I can forward then to the company. I maintain four Voicenation numbers and change them every 60-90 days, depending on the level of activity for certain clients that track by phone number.

Have you received this month payment? They say every month on 22th you get direct deposit payment. I did not see in my account. Why? Help!
They have been so reliable that I would not worry much. Just call today and ask what's up. Please also let us know the result.

My payment was later this month than usual by five days but I did get it. I might take a picture of the deposit notice to remind me that it is mostly worth shopping for them.
I received my payment from them this past Wednesday, prior to Thanksgiving. I concur with Walesmaven- EPMS is very reliable with payment, so I really don't worry too much about them.
