$39.50 HOTEL PARKING SHOP

That gets my attention! Too bad it's false advertising.
The fine print (once you go from the email to the actual shop posting) reads:
"The shop pays $12.50 fee, $2 tip, and up to $25 parking fee."

what company? so i don't get tricked.
What they don't tell you is that you can have a meal for up to $25..if it's the same one I did, the valet was free, I ordered a drink at the bar to kill my required half hour, and the company paid for the drink. I also got the fee and my tip money. Not a bad deal, but poorly written posting. I didn't know, until I got paid, that I could spend $25 and be reimbursed.
I signed up for a few of those. Don't pay for any bar food (darn)...but it wasn't too bad.
huh. the write up says shopping or dining. I should call the scheduler, there's one in my town I should sign up for.
and they did pay for my drink. odd that they'd pay for a drink but not an appetizer.I'll check into it and let you know.
Maybe we're talking about two different companies. The one I was referring to in my OP didn't offer to cover any of that (shucks!). I was talking about the MSC formerly known as GF...
My suggestion would be to read and re-read the posting until you clearly and completely understand the whys and wherefores. You may even want to e-mail the scheduler if you are not clear. I have had success in e-mailing the scheduler with pertinent questions. Be sure to e-mail the scheduler with enough time in advance to give them a reasonable response opportunity before you commit to the shop.
Yeah...I did the valet shop tonight. The restaurant is with another MSC that I'm with. Unfortunately, they didn't give me the restaurant shop. Man...that would have been nice.
For the MSC Pizza mentioned, I was actually able to combine a hotel bar shop from another company with the parking shop....once in 3 years of trying. It was pretty difficult to set up for the $40 it probably netted me.
I've lucked out with this company and these - lined up the Valet to pay for some out of town guests to do some sightseeing (I was with them too), and to go along with dinner.

My word of warning - both the times I've done these, there were numerous valets nearby and I initially went to the wrong one both times and took me a few minutes to get it sorted out.
