Shoppers Critique also does apartment shops.
If I'm not mistaken, Clear Evaluations, Instant Replays, and Shadow Agency do only video apartment shops. For someone who is just getting started in video shopping, which company would you guys suggest as a starting point? Thanks so much for your previous replies!
Bestmark?...I wish I would see an apartment shop from my besties LOL.
Lease UP! is out of Michigan they do apartment mystery shops also. Not a large company but they are real easy to work with and you get paid within 30 days.
Shoppers Inc. does apartment shops in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area. All of the Clear Evaluations shops I have done have never been video recorded. Now the phone calls are recorded but not the actual tours.
I must be obsolete, I only work with EPMS, thank you all, now I can apply with others.

Instant Replays does both types. I've only done assisted living facility shops for them, though, so that might be the difference. At one, I video recorded the shop (I'm in a one party state) just to test my equipment for a day of shops, and the company ended up making it a video shop for me and accepting my video. The rest I've done for them were video.

For beginner video shoppers, I suggest Instant Replays and Clear Evaluations. Both have scheduling staff who are, themselves, very experienced video shoppers who want you to succeed. They are particularly supportive of new shoppers who follow instuctions and stay in touch! The other companies that v-shop apartments are very good to work for, but these two really provide exceptional shopper support for newbies. No amount of traditional MSing can really prepare you for v-shopping, so go for the best support when starting out
BTW, have you taken the Undercover Essentials training?

I have done several video shops for Ed/Advisory Group. Fair pay; reasonable expectations; will try to work with the shopper when it comes to shop dates, etc. I will happily work for him again.

Which companies have apartment shops in the Pensacola area? I only see EPMS. Are there any others. I am signed up for BARE, BESTMARK, Shoppers Critique and never see any apartment shops in this area!
I-Myst occasionally has apartment shops, but I have no clue where. I thought Shadow sometimes has written apartment shops.

@Jamiesan You are funny! LOL.
Withe respect to BestMark, I completed a targeted job for them in 2005 for $18, which was my first apt. shop. After being paid, I resolved to never accept another such shop for less than $35 and have maintained that decision to this day. As any apt. shopper is aware, targets can be difficult and the reports time consuming. That's tooooooo much time and work for less than $20.
As an added note, I received a letter this morning from an MSC unknown to me: Cirrus Mkt. Intell. I was offered a targeted apt. shop for $20. Unless one lived very near and the report was strictly a yes/no form, it would be difficult to profit from this assignment.

Shopper Bob.. I second that. I do apartment shops for EMPS in Kentucky. I will not do them for less than $30. I enjoy them, but, you are right. The reports are brutal.

I think they may be the company that does the large European Furniture store that is high on many shoppers' 10 foot pole list
