Anyone heard of them or done work for them? They have a few shops near me but I'm not keen on them only paying by direct deposit and was curious if anyone's had experience with them.

They are a reputable company. Direct deposit is an improvement over the former system of paying by check and if by some chance the check got lost in the mail, eaten by the dog, etc. there was a $15 charge to replace it. Hmmm. Their jobs pay $15 . . .
Right below your post is a link for discussions about them. Actually direct deposit is my favorite way to be paid. No muss, no fuss, 2 days quicker than PayPal and often weeks earlier than a checksmiling smiley

i did a number of shops for them one month and found them to be extremely reputable. they accidentally made an error in the payment date for one of my shops, but quickly sent me an apology email before i even knew about the error, stressing their concern for their error. they had accidentally applied the payment to the wrong payment period, but sent me a quick check shortly thereafter to correct it. and the people there are very polite and social. the person that i worked with (steve louthan) was very mentoring when i had questions about the shops. i'd be glad to work with them again if they get shops in my area that i qualify for. they don't use paypal, but that's the only drawback.
Great company - Polite, Respectful, and they answer your emails quickly!

I just wish they had more jobs in this area!! The scheduler I have worked with, Anthony, is amazing!

amen... someone has moved into my area and grabs all the lotto shops... sigh...

anyone know if they are still doing alchohol and tobacco compliance? havent seen those even as a back up shop...

shopping north west PA and south west ny
I've done a handful of shops for R&A. They will pay by check, but charge $1 for the extra work on their end. They're also willing to negotiate at the ends of the month.

I haven't seen any compliance shops with them, mostly storage centers, and gas stations in my region.

Shopping Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, and surrounding cities.
They usually offer a very well known convenience store/gas station shop the first part of the month here in FL. But it wasn't offered this month. Any thoughts???
They are very reputable andd they pay quickly. You can also call themif you have a problem and they will help you out. Not many companies do that.
I have done shops for them for 3 years and they pay by check as well as direct deposit. they deduct a buck for paper. good company to work for.
I work for them on a monthly basis and they are awesome. Dependable Direct Deposit is great. I do wish the shops paid more but they get snatched up right away in my area and don't have a chance to increase. There is one project where all the shops get snatched up in less than 30 minutes from being released. Greedy little buggers here in Florida. winking smiley

One of my top 3 MSC. I wish they had more in my area. Always pay on time and I find the fee better than other MSC for similar work.

How timely are their deposits? I did my first shop for them in March, just wondering if I can expect the direct deposit to be in my account on the 30th or not?

Hi, I had the same questions. I contacted them and got a nice reply from Matt, including

"Per our pay policy, shops completed in a given month are paid out on the last day of the following month."
They pay by DD like clockwork on the last day of the month following the month you performed the shops. For my December 2013 shops, I got paid on January 31, 2014. For my January shops, I got paid of February 28, 2014. You get the idea.

If you are a route shopper for them they pay twice a month
and you dont have to wait as long.

However, their routes are the lowest paying in the industry
for the most amount of work, so I won't do them.

Once in awhile I might do a heavily bonused shop,
but that is it.

@ techman01 ~ I have done one of their quarterly routes and I only got paid once a month for it. I also perform a regular monthly route for another client and I still only get paid once a month. I'm okay with being paid once a month so it is not a big deal for me.

Mystery shoppers completing an average of less than 50 shops a month over 3 consecutive months are paid once per month. Payment is made the last day of the month following the month you complete your opportunity. For example, an inspection completed during the month of January will be paid the last day of February.

Mystery shoppers completing an average of 50+ shops a month over 3 consecutive months may be paid twice a month. The average must be maintained to continue this qualification. Shops completed between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be paid on the last day of the month. Shops completed between the 16th and the end of the month will be paid on the 15th of the following month.
