Reality Based Group

Just got a shop offer from them. It doesn't pay much which isn't the issue, though it is a consideration. The issue is that they don't reveal the client. The thing is, if I knew who the client was, I might take the low-paying reimbursement shop if it was an entity that carried something I needed to buy. Anyone know why these MSCs don't reveal the client so you can make an informed decision about accepting a shop?

A lot of companies do this. They usually give an address and I google the address to find the name of the client. Just think of it as an adventure! smiling smiley
I would never have thought of that. My problem right now is that I'm on public transportation due to an eyesight issue so, when I look at the pay rate, I have to take into consideration the cost of bus fare. Sometimes, it's just not worth the trip since it takes forever to get anywhere on the bus in Palm Beach County, FL.
Visited a friend in the Business that told me that they cheated him out of over 700 dollars. Then he talks to the President of the company and she laughed in his face. She also Mocked His Puerto Rican Accent. I am glad he taped it. These people at these companies are so unprofessional.
Are you talking about Reality Based Group or some other company? As far as I know the president of RBG is a he not a she.

I don't know why, but even though they don't reveal it right away, if you click on the link sent to you for your area, you actually can see it before you accept the shop. I work with on a regular basis.

Well you probably won't get a whole lot of sympathy from us in the North, given PB County(: However, once you accept, you will get the info and there is a whole long thread here about that issue.
I also do some shops on public transit, but econonmically I think it is cheaper than car payments, maintenance and rising gas costs. Read the thread about canceling shops.

Did anyone hear any more about this MSC cheating people? They are looking for people in my area, but I don't see a lot of positive responses...
I only see one negative response and they were the only things that member ever posted. There are quite a few threads and while there may be some problems, the company doesn't jump out as one with a lot of pay issues. My shops for them were paid in full and on time.

I love this company, but there is only one shop in my area and it hasn't been offered in a long time. Wish it would come back. We liked those line dancers!
I've only worked for them 1x (May 2012) but they paid on time and in full. I had no issues whatsoever.

I've done half a dozen shops for them with no issues. Everything was paid on time, as expected. I enjoy working with them.
