Certified Field Associates is the worst

Do NOT take any assignments from them. They beg you to do an assignment for them that is an emergency then they give you a hard time and refuse to pay. Their help desk is useless and their "managers" are about 12 years old. I deactivated my account. I called 2 weeks later to discuss payment and I was told that if I sorta begged" they would re activate me and then pay me. WHAT?!!!! I told them the money wasn't worth it and I wanted nothing to do with them. Hope they go out of business...

I quit working for them twice now. I had some assignments that they cancelled and then gave them to someone else with a bonus. They did that to me three times so I deactivated myself. They are totally unorganized and Driveline is getting their jobs now. Thank goodness.
They are a definite pain to deal with. And you are right about their "managers".

Carpe Diem
I only went back with them to do trailer checks or theatre checks and the only ones I see are over 30 miles. And then you have to go thru all kinds of stuff to even find the info about an assignment. Do not get it.
I only do trailer checks for them. But I have noticed that they don't have as many as they used to, and they wait until the day before a check to reduce the fee. I'm guessing another company is getting the checks. They are probably trying to make the most money out of the ones they are getting, reducing the fee, and keeping a larger profit for themselves.

I know. And they message you that if you do not agree with the change, you can cancel the shop. I tried to cancel and they threatened that it will greatly affect my records. Yet, they have a very bad habit of cancelling the shop a day before.

Don in Vegas
I'm having issues right now with this company as well. They jipped me out of 2 jobs that I did on a word technicality in my opinion and are trying now to say that what one person did didn't happen! I thought I would look on this site and see if there were complaints/praises and here I am, reading how others are and have gone through the same thing as me.

This company used to be friendly and helpful. Been with them for almost 2 years. In the last 3 months, everything seems to have fallen apart and the right leg doesn't seem to know what the left is doing.

Time to deactivate and move on!
I don't like them because typical pay is low and they call me over and over to do shops. Thankfully caller id means I don't have to talk to them. I am in the middle of a mess with them at the moment, but am still confident I will get paid. Not sure why I actually believe it but I do. I would love to cut them off, but lately have seen a few more desparation e-mails from them. Haven't been quick enough, but have seen some $75 and $100 e-mails for shops. I will not do anything for them again without a significant bonus for the shop.
I had three trailer checks for one day, they cancelled two, and the third was paying $7 for one screen. Obviously, not worth the trip so I cancelled. And they deactivated me. Picked up the same trailer checks for another company paying more money. So, it all worked out for the better. Hopefully, CFA will get its act together.
I have been doing jobs for about three months with no problems, recently I started gettin lots of jobs with big bonuses, after completing them and turning in all paperwork I began getting messages stating that Pics were missing, when I answered them I was given attitude and by the end of the day my acct. was deactivaed. When I called I was told that I had falsified my reports, even though I have signatures and pics of the assignments. Probably wont recieve the moneys owed, ( over $400 ) but will do my best to warn others about this practice.
Welcome to the club.... you are with many others unfortunately...

I finally broke down and took a couple shops....they said my estimiate needed to be re-uploaded or I wouldn't get paid, I did it again (same photo) and it was accepted. The chicken place never has what I like and what they say to order, why eat something you don't like, and their tests and videos, please, so not worth the time. Pay starting at 3.00 and whooppe goes up to 7......

Live consciously....
I have some merchandising jobs to do for them and the idiots from the call center keep calling to find out when I am doing them - I told them as soon as I GET THE MATERIALS which have still yet to arrive. I told her my status says that and when they get here, I'll change it. But then its "When can you go?". I DON'T KNOW. You sent them out over a week late and sorry but it won't be until Monday at the soonest - that is if they get here tomorrow. I finally told her I don't control the time my mailman delivers!

Had this issue with them back in 2009, too.

Call me a ton when I can't take my phone around the lab I worked in (they were told of that) when they tell me it'll be a week to get my materials, but still call every day up until then. I was more than happy to pitch the stuff when it arrived and I call them and they said I was deactivated or whatever...no sweat off my back.
I have been monitoring CFA regular assignments posts for over a year and have been unable to find one that I can break even just to pay for my gas! I don't think they have a clue as to the actual cost to us for completing an assignment. However, some of the bonused assignments might be worth it if you can get um done on time.
Thats what I do, I'll pick up one or two of the audits and I know that I will then get a plethora of calls to pick up more and the bonuses keep getting higher and higher. Thats what I did last month and now, yes, I'm looking for my pay for them. Mickey mouse dollars I can let go but once its closing in on more than a few hundred bucks, I do get concerned. I wish all companies were like Caliber or Reality Based or Beyond Hello - they give you a date and stick with it (and the only times they don't is when they bump it up earlier). But to hear "we have no set pay date"? Seriously? This month I'm really counting on getting it earlier as my dad is very ill and in hospice care and I will be taking some time off of course; I want to cover my bases so its one less thing I have to worry about (paying the bills; I'd rather pay early and be done with it instead of forget and with my luck get banged with fees).
This is THE worst company to ever consider doing mystery shops for. They will find an excuse to can you after a while. They are too big and have way too many independent contractors to be organized and efficient. I was with them for 2 years and noticed they have steadily gone downhill fast. Trying to deal with "weekend people" and phone calls from the Phillipines isn't worth the aggravation. They just don't get it.
My main beef with them is the time they call. Don't you dare call me at 8:05 on a Saturday morning to "remind me" of the job I am scheduled to do within the next few days. If I'm overdue, thats one thing but a reminder call? I don't think that the words I used they had ever heard.
Their pay is insanely low and the amount of paperwork involved can be even more insane! I've done a few jobs for them this year and I got paid for them. I had like three assignments this week to try to fill in the gaps between mystery shops and field inspections, but I flaked on two of them. It's just not worth it.

Making a living however I can.

OMG! No one better call me that early on a Saturday morning unless someones dying. Jeesh!
