Reality Based Group - Receipt Problem - Suggestions?

I did my first shop for them two weeks ago. The requirement was to purchase a food item and any beverage. I purchased both, however my receipt lists the food item, but not the beverage, although if you look at the subtotal and total, the cost of the beverage is included, just not listed. A few days later, I received my review indicating that I had not purchased the required beverage. I responded to the email stating above and received no reply. I kept on checking my status and nothing was changed so I sent the same email via their website a few days later. Now it has been a week and no response at all and still the same review when I log in.

I am not sure whether I will get paid. I cannot control how this store prints out their receipts. But if one takes the time to look clearly, you can see the subtotal and total that I purchased something in addition to the food item. Am I stuck for this????? In which case I will not be working for this MSC again.

I just did a dinner shop for them last night. The guideline clearly state you can take 1 person with you. I took my husband. When I was doing my report I noticed the receipt said: guest 3. That immediately sent up a red flad for me and I made sure I addressed that and the fact that there was only 2 of us, in my report, but I still have an uneasy feeling about it.

Just explain that in the report. I have done numerous shops for them and never had a problem. If you only take one guest you only have to list what was ordered by the two of you.

Unfortunately I did not explain it in the report, but did in two emails after and have received no response. Does anyone have another help desk email or phone number for them so that I can try again. I am afraid that I won't get paid. TIA
I have never had a problem with this company although twice I have had very unusual situations. They are very reasonable. If after explaining you have not heard any more they likely have accepted your explanation.

Thanks do you think that maybe I should just wait and see if I get paid? Do you know what their payment schedule is? I was hoping to see a change in the comments of the completed shop, but that has not happened after over two weeks of completing the shop and one week of my two emails.
If they were not going to pay you, you would get an e-mail telling you so. These folks are very up-front. I have been paid for all my shops with them but a family member also shops for them, and he had one shop for which he was not paid. He was assigned a thrift shop evaluation requiring a purchase. There was a $5 reimbursement and a $12 fee. He shopped the wrong location. Totally his own fault. He received a really nice e-mail saying they understood how it had been confusing but since it was the incorrect location they could not pay him for his report and they apologized and encouraged him not to be discouraged. But then when he checked the shop log, the $4.32 he spent at the thrift shop showed up for payment. Although he did not get the fee, they were nice enough to reimburse his purchase. He was a new shopper and this was his first shop with them and how sensitively they handled it kept him from quitting.

There are several MSCs that seem to look for reasons not to pay, but this is not one of them. I think you are probably good if you haven't gotten a "We can't pay you" e-mail. Does the payment show up in your shop log?
I did not get an email saying that they were not going to pay me. In my shop log it lists the shop fee and reimbursement, along with the comment that I did not purchase the required beverage. I hope that you are right and that I will be paid. Can you tell me what their payment schedule? Thanks so much for the information. It is always nerve wracking when doing a first shop with a new MSC. Next time I will make sure to explain it in my report to hopefully avoid the comment in the first place.

Yes, if the fee is in the shop log you will get paid. This is one that gently reminds but doesn't not pay. They pay by PayPal and I think it is the end of the month following, it seems like I usually get the notice of payment about 45 days later.
Thank you so much for all the info. It is much appreciated and now that I am assured of being paid I will pu more shops from them and be more careful to detail it in my reports in case this happens again, but probably won't go to that location again.
