Ritter question SOS

Hi
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have a rather urgent question, as it involves my filling out these Ritter reports. I've been signing up for so many MS companies in the past 3 weeks, I'm a bit dithered. ;0)

Did I imagine this, or does Ritter want their reports in all uppercase letters. I thought I'd read this on their site, but I can't find it now. I emailed the scheduler this morning, but haven't heard back from her. I left a voice message on her phone telling her I'd completed the shops this afternoon.

Am I batty? LOL Please help. I've got 5 reports to do in the next few hours. Thanks.

I did a few last month and I put them in ALL CAPS. They were accepted with no problems. Hope that helps!
They want their reports in all caps, and if you don't it should automatically change it to all caps.

Why they want it that way, Idk.

Don't know the reason why, but yes, Ritter wants all caps.

I just did a shop today for Ritter and had to do a quadruple take - yes, they specify ALL CAPS.
Thanks all. I finally found the statement in some of the paperwork I'd printed out. Of course, it was on the very last page.
I'm assuming it has something to do with text recognition software being able to pick up blocks of text. They may export from one system and import into another.

And either way, their Shopmetrics site converts everything to all caps either way.
I just registered with them and know darn good and well when it's time for my first shop I'll forget that requirement, LOL! Glad to know the system converts anywaywinking smiley

HAHA yes I do very few shops for them but when I do I read that requirement and whine in my head, then promptly forget to enter that way but find it automatically converts and then I remember.

@ Anakin & Lisa - Are y'all referring to just individual shops or some of the routes they put together to do installs?

I'm asking because my DH and I do an install route for them every 3 months, and it takes us 5 minutes for it. The survey is 3 yes or no questions, and upload 3 photos. I get paid $10.00 for each install.

I haven't done any of their other shops, but I haven't found any out here.

I'm just talking individual shops, although some in my area have been increased just in the few days since I registered. I have heard they can offer some great routes. Right now I'm just trying out one shop to see how much time it takes on the job and report.

I see, thanks!

If you can, try and get a route shop together. The first install was longer, it took about 20 minutes to perform it, and you do get paid more. After that, all my DH and I have to do is go back and swap out information - takes us, like I said, 5 minutes max. The report takes < 10 minutes. So, $10.00 for 15 minutes of work - not bad. (I plan on the swap outs when I have to be in the area to save on gas).

One thing that I've had happen with the two different schedulers...

When I am in the area, I will drop into the store and check the install - on my own time with no one asking me to do it. If my install is missing or defaced in some way, I will take a quick photo, then get home, contact the scheduler and let them know to ship me more supplies. More often than not - they will pay me an additional $10.00 for it.

They have been so nice, and they really are easy to work with.

I called the scheduler yesterday with a couple of questions, telling him it was my first shop for them and I wanted to be clear. I also told him it got confusing because of one line in the instructions. He told me that part of the instructions was out of date and he would get it corrected. Thank goodness he didn't make me feel like an idiot for askingsmiling smiley He seemed to appreciate my call and I appreciated him being available so, as far as I'm concerned, it was a really good start.

YES THEY WANT IT ALL IN CAPTIALS AND IF YOU DON'T DO IT I THINK IT DOES IT AUTOMATICALLY.

Yes, all CAPS. I was confused at first too!
I think the editors there are hard hearing. I SAID, "I THINK THE EDITORS THERE ARE HARD HEARING!!!!!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Yes, even if you don't make it CAPS, it will change it anyway, on it's own...

Ritter has horrible pay though, they will sit on 6 bucks for two weeks to do a gas station coffee..

I used to do them because the station is a mile from my house but it's like pulling teeth to get much more out of them for that shop...eventually they do bonus like 2 bucks...lol..
