Intellishop Question

I did a car dealer shop and found this statement on my reviewer comments.

"We insert a few "integrity" questions into each report that have answers which, if chosen, show us that you did not faithfully and honestly fill out the report. Since you answered all of these incorrectly, we will not be able to use the report."

Unlike most of the reviewer comments I did not receive an email when this was posted. After I read this I sent in an email requesting further information because I did do this shop and felt that I did it per the instructions. Has anyone else had this happen or can anyone explain to me what exactly they are telling me. After several emails sent in requesting information, I have not received a reply.

they are telling you some questions can only be answered one way, and that you made the answer up, so they will not pay you for the report.

Example: what color is the ceiling, you said blue; but it's green.

= + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = +
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots

Or, they may have checked videotape and what you reported did not match the video. I have done several shops for Intellishop and never got anything like that from them.
I think she understands exactly WHAT they are telling her, but her question to them was along the lines of what integrity questions were asked because she did complete the shop and her answers were provided honestly. No, I have never seen integrity questions from Intellishop. I have seen warnings from companies that integrity questions are inserted. CORI comes to mind - at the beginning of each report the integrity warning pops up. I've worked with Intellishop and never heard about any integrity questions. I don't work for them often because their pay seems low to me and they take longer to pay than most MSCs. Their report forms are a PITA, too. I have taken a couple of car dealership shops but only after they were bonused. I don't do a car dealership for less than $25 so when they bonus them to $25 or $30 I'm willing. I'm surprised to hear the integrity question thing.

edited to correct glaring spelling and grammar errors.....good thing I'm off duty.

I have not seen that on the very few Intellishop assignments that I have done. However, my experience with "integrity questions" elsewhere leads me to think that they are more likely to be more like, "Please comment on the condition of the plants and/or flowers in the dining room." For instance, this is used in a report for a client that NEVER has plants or flowers in the dining rooms. Shoppers claiming to have seen the plants or flowers get tagged as shoppers who are willing to make up an answer instead of, at the least, admitting that they failed to observe said items. In the same way, they may ask about the state of the windows and window coverings in a room which has neither, or what specials were advertised with tabletop cards in a chain which never uses those.

Earlier this month, I had an apartment assignment for an MSC with whom I hadn't been involved in the past. The instructions stated I was to ask to tour a 1 bedroom apt., but the answering unit clearly stated the community only offered 2 & 3 bedroom homes. I wrote the scheduler and she commended me for attempting to follow directions. I don't KNOW this was a control requirement, but I strongly suspect that was the case.
Just to give you an idea on the intellishop car shops, there is a question in there that asks did the sales associate offer you the one year free car insurance. i also saw another one that said did he/she remember to offer you the free gas for one year? these are bogus questions as there is not one dealership on their list that offers these things. period. heck, if i find a dealership willing to pay my car insurance for one year, they will definitely have my business lol.
I so appreciate all of the feedback. I guess the thing that bothers me is that they never answered my emails and I don't know what I did wrong. It could be that I misread a question or accidently clicked the wrong answer. I know I did the shop and I would have appreciated being asked for clarification instead of just calling me a liar. I have done shops with them since and I haven't had any issues, so I will chalk this up as a learning experience and move on. You have all been so great and I am so happy to be a part of a community that is willing to help and "talk". Thank you.
Ah ha, I remember seeing the questions about free gas or some odd offer that was never made by the salesperson. I would assume those are the integrity questions, now that I think about it.

I think I do know what questions you are talking about. The thing is that they did show me something about some special and I'm sure that I thought that was what they referring to. As I said, clairifcation would have been nice. Thanks again! Ya'lll are the BEST!
I remember that gas question on the last two auto shops I did for them. I know there have been those kinds of promotions in the past but hadn't seen anything like that advertised recently. I just figured the guy had forgotten to mention it. Now, the insurance question wasn't on my form and I had never heard of that before so it might have sent up red flags.
Me too. I was wondering about those questions if they were for real. Glad I always tell them no.

I have seen Integrity questions from Intelli, and the dealership gets high points if these are answered correctly. They are in the instructions, I just finished two dealerships, funny, one had the questions, one did not. I know
report will not be accepted if not answered correctly, and your rating will
drop significatly. When you actually do report, integrity question will be in report highlighted in red.

I stopped doing auto shops. They take an hour and my mailbox an 2nd line fill up with call after call. I also think about the person and their family. He or She comes home and thinks they have a great sale that will pay the baby's milk! I think it could be done better. I do like the motorcycle shops. They aren't pushy, but from another shopping company.
I received two emails, one from Salesman, one from Manager (I don't give my phone#). I finished report and then shoot off email saying we decided to keep
our car for awhile, thanks so much for your time. Doing this job, I can't feel quilty, people shop for cars daily without buying. Someday when I'm ready
I'll know where to go. The good report will help the Salesman get what he needs, the bad report will help him know what he's doing wrong. Strickly
business.
