BARE: Does anyone know...

where to find a payment history on their site? I saw a link on here several months ago, but I've looked and looked and can't locate it now.

They normally will have paid. They are a pretty strict company. They don't like to pay. You have to follow the instructions perfectly.
The only thing I know of is in the shop log. You have to look at each shop individually. If you have a lot to research utilize the sort options at the top where you can define the dates and whether you are searching for all or just completed shops.

Yeah, I agree with LisaSTL. The shop log is the only way. If you got a check in April, it is for March's shops. They pay the month after you shopped. March in April....April in May....unfortunately when you get the check, you have to match up all the dollar amounts and hope it balances. smiling smiley
I get emails from them a few days before the money is deposited that lists the shops and the amount I will receive.

I get the e-mails as well. You have to keep good records of your shops to match up all the payments.
I didn't know they did direct deposit. I always get a paper check cut, no email notification of the amount in advance. Hmmm. Need to go check it out. smiling smiley
If you're on DD then they were paid around the 17th or 18th as usual.

I am brand new to Mystery Shopping and BARE is the first company I signed with. I am very leery of providing my SS number and my checking account numbe. Do you feel it is safe to do so? This makes me nervous!
Thanks!
lahna I feel your pain. but, you are going to find it hard to get paid without it. (might find it hard to get work, too). Bare is definitely safe. In fact, even the PITA companies that drive us crazy are safe. Before you sign up with a company, double check here to make sure it is legit. You can type in the name of the company in the search box and all the posts on that MSC will come up. There is also a list of MSCs on here.

And,since you are new, let me be the first of many to tell you

Mystery shopping companies will not send you checks to cash or payment before the shop. They will not send money via Western Union and ask you to deposit the money as part of a shop.

Welcome.

Mystery shopping companies also don't ask for that information through e-mail. As long as you are initiating the sign up process via their secure server you can feel safe. Once you have been mystery shopping you may get e-mails because companies sometime share shopper info (although never SSNs and banking info) and help each other recruit. Even then I don't go through the links in the e-mail. Due diligence means checking out the legitimacy of the e-mail and the company and then going to their website to sign up.
