Kern Scheduling, are you kidding?

E-mail subject line reads:

"$15 Photo Shop. NO REPORT; NO KIDDING Ottuma, IA‏"

....only ..... this is Texas..... did they send to everybody in the whole USA? Maybe some of us would like to fly there to do the shop?

I also deleted it. Obviously Kern is also not familiar with the city as it is not Ottuma but Ottumwa. Heck it is only about 1350 miles outside my shopping area.

I got that, too. I wish schedulers would be more vigilant about not sending shops to people who are hundreds of miles away from the intended shop. I now scroll down to the bottom of every email I get so I don't get excited about a shop only to find out it's no where near me. tongue sticking out smiley

I missed the typo. It is the birthplace of Radar O'Reilly, maybe that makes it worth a visitwinking smiley

They send shops like this to everyone in case you are traveling through the area....

Scheudlers do that when they get down to one hard to assign shop hoping someone knows anyone who can do it. It doesn't bother me; I read and delete. Although I got one from another company time and again where they used the name of the product as the city and a local zipcode so I figured out what they meant and sent them the info and they were able to get it scheduled much faster since they had the real town listed.

I'll give the scheduler props for one thing, the city was part of the subject line so it didn't need to be even be opened. Still preferable to those vague, we've posted jobs in your area.
