Trendsource Customer Intercept shops

They advertise this as $20/hr/ You need to do a meat/seafood customer intercept, meaning you ask people to fill out a survey and pay them $2. You have to have $200 cash on you to do this. 3-6 hr shifts and you must turn in 75 customer surveys. You must submit all the surveys. Then you must print 75 other docs. etc, etc. This is only $20 and hr for the amt of time you stand in the grocery store. Does not include the time for the surveys printing etc.
I think that this could be a reasonable shop, just pay adequately, I have been getting many emails and now phone calls which leads me to believe that they are having trouble finding shoppers. For good reason.

You have to print 150 pages and shell out $200? I'll stick with cell phone intercepts at $20 an hour. You just need a one page introduction letter and 7 copies of the survey. Theirs was 2 pages and I edited it down to 1. Others I've done at the pay have actually shipped out copies of all the paperwork. Hope that whole EIN thing is working out for them.

That doesn't even sound right??? Shell out $200 and how long before you are reimbursed? If not the same WEEK I'd say, "Forget it". I've paid $200 for shops but they are high end restaurants and 4 and 5 star hotels. They need to send $2.00 gift cards or something.

Agreed. They should send coupons for the restaurant instead of asking you
to lay out your money. I did exit polls where if they would stop and do the
survey you gave them a coupon to be used at their next visit to the restaurant.
I look at the fees on their jobs and wonder, who is taking these jobs. They
astound me with the low pay, obviously someone is taking them. It's a shame that shoppers don't have something similar to a union, where we could unite and get the pay scale raised, because as long as people continue to take these jobs and the BS that goes with it, the companies will not change(they don't have to).
