Gapbuster reliable?

Hey guys!

I need some advice on whether Gapbuster is reliable? I am
New to mystery shopping and have taken up a few assignments from gapbuster. But I need to be assured that gapbuster is reliable.so can someone pla give me some good/bad comments? It will be veey much appreciated! Thank you!!!!

I just completed 5 jobs for them last month and was paid on 6/25 for the jobs.Their online report takes some getting used to because they are a worldwide company and it takes them awhile to reply to your email.I would think the reason for that would be the different time zone (Australia).So far I have no problems with them.

They are pretty good IMO, they are a worldwide concern. I'm over in England and do quite a bit of work for them.
I've done several of their smartphone shops in the past month. Not paid yet but I'm not worried based on people's reviews. I will say that their (lack of) communication leaves something to be desired.
I did 2 jobs for them a few years ago. STILL WAITING TO GET PAID! I kept getting emails from them saying they could not deposit although I sent them my account 3 times.

Can I ask also if anyone of you encounters this incident before whereby you completed, expressed and even received an email from them confirming that they received the results BUT when i checked my account today, it actually says that it is cancelled?? after what I had done?

I had already sent an email to them but did not receive any reply from them so far and i do not know whether I should email them again?

any advice on this?

Was it a closed location? The website is very confusing. A closed location will show a status of rejected/canceled and you will still be paid.

I dont think it is a closed location because i did order from them and get it delivered to my place. But i have no idea how come it shows rejected/cancelled after I expressed the assignment.
You are working with a different project. Mine did not involve a delivery to my house.

I have found Gapbuster to be dreadfully slow with responding to e-mails. Sometimes they don't even answer at all. I hope you are able to get an answer from them.
I would agree with you on that.they only reply fast when they are desperate for us to take up some assignments.but I will still give them allowance. Maybe just maybe they are really busy at the moment?haha
They pay well and they they pay fast ...
but dont ask for help because in my experience they dont every answer emails
Do you guys have any number I can call or someone that will maybe help? Like any particular member of the gapbuster team that may help? Thanks!!

I had one rejected because it was closed and have not been paid. I've inquired about it a few times.
Did you contact them and provide any information? Obviously I couldn't reach them at the time of my visit, but when talking to them later I explained everything. Meanwhile, I had taken two photos of the closed location which they later had me e-mail.

I just wanted to share this. I completed my first shop for Gapbuster on June 1, 2012, and I was paid for it on June 25, 2012. It might have been paid early, because the original deadline for the shop was May 31, 2012. It was nicely bonused and I received exactly what they told me I would get.
Wow that's nice news to hear about gapbuster just when something bad happens to me. Thank you for sharing!i completed my first assignment for them in mid June and is still waiting for payment but given the good reviews, I think they will pay? But I'm just puzzled over what happened to my pizzahut assignment which I did but was mysteriously cancelled.

Yes, I've tried sending an email several times through the enquiry and I believe directly to a scheduler who had emailed me about assignments. I also provided photos of the closed location.
I'm still waiting for pay for two closed locations. Other shops have been paid on time. They did respond to my email and said they were still waiting for verification from the client. Both shops were completed in April and one had a nice hefty bonus, so I'm hoping they come through. I did email lots of photos.

They gave me the same excuse. I spent like $100 to do their reimbursement shops! I hate this company. I havent received my pay from my October 2013 Shops! NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. I have reported them to MSPA to remove them to their list.
I've never had an issue with them and they always offer exceptional pay for the amount of work you do.

MSPA Silver shopper shopping the Southeastern states.
I don't know what to think about company that is greedy enough to hire random people of the streets. The schedulers have such heavy accents which is nearly impossible to understand, appearantly they can't understand me either, not sure if it's language skills or bad Internet based phone service. The same people send unprofessional emails that I just have to quote

"I am sorry for this delay respond

I will love to explain to you and cannot get tru your phone"

Thank you for all the feedback. And we always seek to make improvements, and to resolve enquiries fast as possible. There are several reason for an assignment being rejected or reshopped, but most are due to shoppers not following the assignment guidelines.
