Spies In Disguise

Has anyone had experience with Spies In Disguise? I am considering applying for my first shop with them, but it would be considerable OOP money. Was hoping for some feedback before I applied.

I find them reasonable to work with. They do want detail, but so do most shops. They seem to pay/reimburse about three weeks after the shop.
I like their shops.

There is not enough shops in my area, so I do alot of "out of town" shops for them.

Make sure your email account with them is the same as your PP account, or you will be waiting for your pay. :-)
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have a question regarding Spies in Disguise. Before I apply for a posted job, I want to get your seasoned feedback on a project description that includes this, "VERY lengthy review required on all facilities ..." I get high marks from Coyle, Amusement Advantage, and the like, so I'm not scared of narrative. I just need reassurance that the required write-up -- "FULL day writing the lengthy narrative when you are done, along with needing lots of time during your stay to ensure all parts of the evaluation are complete." -- is reasonable. I'd hate to get into a big project like this and find myself ready to slit my wrists ... tongue sticking out smiley

I did an eatery for them. It had to be lengthy b/c the client wanted to feel like he was there. angry smiley

Keep in my that they do not have a SAVE feature.angry smiley angry smiley So once you start your report, you need to finsish. I suggest copy and paste, from your Word or another writing program. I had to email my narrative to me because I could not save it on the report form. Guess how many times I did that? confused smiley confused smiley. I informed the 800 number and she gave me an extension. SO............smiling smiley smiling smiley

If it is a "Full" day lengthy narrative. Then your report begins when you purchase your ticket, park you car and walk to the admittance gate. If you are doing something like a BID in W, DC. then you are mostly watching the caretakers. You sound like you have taken on similar shops so it won't be as bad. Sometimes getting through the first shop for a company is the hardest. but it turns out to be a piece of cake.
I just do their food shop. I find it super easy and much less demanding than the person I normally work for. I write the narrative in like 20 minutes and its only like 20 multiple choice questions.

I did the shop that you are reffering to and it does take a full day of writing the narrative and the money amount involved is high. As long as you are organized, detailed and plan ahead your mandatory activities, you should be all good.
